There’s new rules for golf now that courses are reopening during the 2020 Pandemic. It wasn't difficult to get accustomed to putting with the flags in, and it wasn't very controversial. But because of social distancing guidelines, courses are trying a variety of solutions to keep everyone from touching common items. Putting to a cylinder sticking out of the ground is safer for social distancing but hard to get agreement on whether the putt is good if it just brushes the “hole”. So is it a Hole-in-One if the the ball hits the cup but doesn’t doesn’t go "in"? Here's an example. What do you think?
