9/23/22: On the first full day of our 2 week adventure through Japan, the four of us took a 2hr bullet train in an unreserved car (standing, squished together like sardines) from Tokyo to Nagoya to watch a NPB (Nippon Professional Baseball) game between the visiting Yomiuri Giants and home Chunichi Dragons! I've been to most of the ball parks in the USA and the energy was similar to being at Fenway Park, Boston, where EVERY fan is invested in EVERY pitch. I wore my SF Giants hat in the hopes of exchanging caps with a Tokyo Giants fan. Bucket list: CHECK!
