"I should be past this, but it just keeps creeping back."
This is the theme of several conversations I've had with friends lately. I don't know if it's the time of year, or post-holiday ugghhhs, or what. But over and over I'm having converations with other smart and accomplished women who find themselves bound to this thing called body image.
Truth be told, I'm in this space some as well. Despite shouting from anwhere I can that we don't have to look a certain way and that we just need to be able to do what we are called to do, sometimes I find myself wanting to look a certain way while doing what I'm called to do.
That's just the honest truth.
