Amanda Woomer is a paranormal investigator, researcher, world traveller, foodie, author and owner of the website Spook-Eats. She first became interested in the paranormal when she visited the historic Gettysburg Civil War Memorial Park in 2004 and has been visiting haunted locations ever since having been to dozens of haunted inns, taverns and restaurants throughout the United States as well as in Europe.

In this episode Amanda joined me for a paranormal chit-chat where we also discussed her upcoming new journal, 'The Feminine Macabre.'

Amanda loves to spotlight haunted locations people can actually visit and perhaps have a ghostly experience of their own. Her blog features lots of articles and of course, her books are filled with haunted tales from all over the United States.
Spook-Eats is a blog created by Amanda and dedicated to travel, food, and (of course) a little bit of paranormal thrown in just for fun! Amanda Woomer is a huge travel buff, foodie, and lover of all things strange and unusual. She’s been visiting haunted locations ever since her first visit to Gettysburg, PA in 2004 and since then, traveled to dozens of haunted places in the United States from the Stanley Hotel in Colorado to the home of Robert the Doll in Key West. She continues her journey around the country, visiting bars, cafes, restaurants, and hotels, searching for delicious food and spirits of all kinds.
Amanda is also the author of many books including: A Haunted Atlas of Western New York, The Cryptid ABC Book (picture book for kids), America’s Haunted Breweries: Distilleries, and Wineries, The Ghosts of the Ghostlight Theatre and Krampus’s Great Big Book of Yuletide Monsters is her second children’s book and will be available on November 1, 2020.
