After attending school and college locally he left home at 18 to study a four year combined degree in graphic design at the Universities of Falmouth and Bournemouth. Graduating with a Bachelor of Arts Honour Degree in 2002 he went on to work for ten years in the fields of graphic design, project management, client management, business development and corporate events across the UK and abroad. Since opening he has continued to develop, restore and expand all areas of the venue, improving the Manor and its surroundings with the further restoration of the house to provide luxury self-catering accommodation, the redevelopment of the farm's former cowyard and adjacent barn as a bespoke party and events space, creation of special glamping facilities across two acres of river meadows, restored the old farm stables as an additional smaller events space and developed additional luxury facilities for all types of event and wedding. With his team of thirteen employees he now hosts around thirty weddings per year as well as birthday parties, corporate events, meetings, paranormal investigation nights, and a string of special Pengenna events including pop-… Read More
