Hope, Interrupted: A Conversation with Jennifer Mooney & Byron McCauley

Hope, Interrupted: A Conversation with Jennifer Mooney & Byron McCauley

This week, Gemma sits down with Jennifer Mooney and Byron McCauley, co-authors of Hope, Interrupted: America Lost and Found in Letters.   At the height of COVID, Black Lives Matter, and political and economic unrest in the United States, Byron and Jennifer met at a conference and before long, they decided that they should write down what they were feeling. Everything was in a state of upheaval - the murder of George Floyd, the political environment, and the lockdown. Jennifer and Byron shed light on both the individual and collective impacts of this unprecedented time on family, marriage, work, and health, and their hopes and fears for uniting the nation. Their book, is really a time capsule for all of us. Tune in for an honest and inspiring conversation about overcoming the differences that divide us.
