We recognize emotions are given to us by God, but can we trust them?
In certain denominations, you may hear that emotions are untrustworthy and will always lead you astray. In others, you may see emotions as evidence that God is moving. Is there a happy medium we can live out?
Trevor Olesiak is an executive coach and pastor who is passionate about helping others understand and become emotionally intelligent. In this episode, he teaches:
- how to become emotionally self-aware
- how to manage your emotions in a healthy way
- how to change the stories you tell yourself about your own life
- how to practically take your thoughts captive and teach them to obey Christ (2nd Corinthians 10:5)
The good news is that wherever you start in your EQ, you can grow. It's a skillset you can learn and practice.
