Guest bio: James Marin, RD, EN is an Integrative Registered Dietitian and Environmental Nutritionist who specializes in using whole plant-foods as a form of medical nutrition therapy. James loves to combine his knowledge of food and the environment to help his patients prevent and reverse diseases related to the gut. Dahlia Marin, RDN is a Plant Based Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, who has used food as medicine on a whole food plant based diet for the past 10 years to overcome pre-diabetes, PCOS, GI issues, obesity, and Hashimoto’s Hypothyroidism, and have a healthy plant-based pregnancy. She is passionate about healing the gut, as it is a key to healing the entire body. She uses her own health story and clinical experience working with clients from a multitude of backgrounds and health conditions to get to the root of what ails them, helping to find true healing and well-being.
Dahlia is a pioneer when it comes to treating Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) and/or Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth (SIBO) as she focuses on addressing root causes of these diseases, with the goal to add variety to the diet, not take it away."
