When Tony Miros was 10 years old he went to see the movie musical “Grease” for the first time on the silver screen, he was instantly mesmerized, and his obsession with Hollywood began.
He loved the film SO much that he made his mother buy him the movie soundtrack album, the film fotobook, the poster, and an endless amount of Grease trading cards (yes, trading cards with bubble gum inside ...that was a big thing in the 1970s) from the corner candy store. He also begged her to take him back to the cineplex to see the film over-and-over-again.
Ever since then he has devoured every book, documentary, magazine, newspaper article and internet website he could find about Hollywood, its landmarks, stars, the movie studios, film locations and trivia/fun facts about old movies & classic tv shows that he could find.
Arriving in Tinseltown in 2005 to pursue a career in the entertainment industry, he landed a job at the legendary Warner Bros Studios in Burbank as a VIP Tour Guide where his passion for learning everything there is to know about Hollywood went into overdrive!
Now, after working as a successful Casting Director and freelance journalist in the Entertainment Capital of the World for the past 17 years, this aspiring Hollywood historian is excited about sharing his passion for Tinseltown with listeners from around the globe on his new podcast Hollywood Obsessed!
So hold on to your ruby slippers and fasten your seatbelts folks for a Titanic adventure back to the past - and the future - on every episode of HOLLYWOOD OBSESSED with TONY MIROS!
