During the second part of Tony’s fascinating conversation with celebrated actress Rutanya Alda, she tells him all about the time she met the real Joan Crawford on the set of “Rosemary’s Baby”, how the role of ‘Carol Ann’ in “Mommie Dearest” came into her life, the research she did about Joan Crawford’s life before they started filming the movie, her thoughts on why Faye Dunaway still doesn’t like discussing her performance as Crawford or the film itself, why she decided to publish her book “The Mommie Dearest Diary: Carol Ann Tells All”, her surprise by how much love and admiration the gay community has had for the film “Mommie Dearest” throughout the years, and her experience filming her other cult classic movie “Amityville II: The Possession” and why that film also has such a passionate fan base.
