Do What You Say #shorts

It's natural to fixate on the immediate challenge when tragedy strikes, allowing it to overwhelm our thoughts and emotions. We often give the obstacle undue power, letting it define our circumstances and shape our outlook on the future. However, it's crucial to remember that this 'thing' - whatever difficulty we face - is not truly in control; God is.

This perspective is beautifully illustrated by my friend Tina, author of "Grace in Grief: A 100-Day Journey Exploring God's Tender Response to Loss." In a powerful moment of realization, Tina recognized that to live out her faith, she needed to surrender - not to the cancer affecting her family, but to God's will.

Tina’s story reminds us that even in our darkest moments, can shift our focus from the problem to the divine presence that offers comfort, strength, and hope.
