Voice Actor, Coach, Mentor
Brad Hyland was born on April 1st, 2016. Or rather, that's the day he started really living. Because that's the day Brad returned to voiceover as a full-time voice actor. You see, Brad's been studying and working in VO since before the internet. His first training, demos (recorded on a DAT file), and initial jobs were almost 40 years ago. But a new family and the "day job" kept him from being able to fully commit to VO as a career, so he worked another career for 35 years before deciding it was time to pursue his passion.
He also spent two decades dabbling in standup comedy and movie extra work, as well as honing his pipes as front man for a rock & blues band for eight years.
But Brad's love of performing never went away and is now satisfied daily as an actively booking voiceover talent, coach, and mentor. Brad works from his home studio near Washington DC, serving customers all over the world. He can tackle any assignment with his versatile voice and ability to take direction. The core of his business includes commercial, corporate & film narration, as well as explainers and voice messaging of all kinds. Some of his favorite work includes being the voice of Santa for the Elf on the Shelf, Voice of Charlie Tuna for Starkist and Narrating films for National Parks, like the Crazy Horse Monument in South Dakoda and the Craters Of The Moon National Park in Idaho. Brad also loves booking multiple character voices for video games. He was a multiple OneVoice award winner in 2023 and a nominee for Best Male voice actor for… Read More
