Lapsed!

Oh my stars, loving Lapsed! As a Lapsed Catholic, this podcast puts me in a time-warp. It’s fun to reminisce on my Catholic upbringing, and it’s strangely drawing me closer to my Catholic roots. I prayed to St Anthony the other day when I couldn’t find something and haven’t done that in ages. So many things I never even really registered— like no, we do not read the Bible, and that’s why I have no idea what’s in that thing. And yes we are obsessed with Mary and nobody else gets her. I feel like Anne and Steph give me permission to embrace my cultural Catholicism even though I’m now a practicing Unitarian, and I just love the sense of community I feel when listening.
