2:38 – Introductions, and where Quentin’s approach to content and experimentation came from
4:50 – Why people have an uncomfortable relationship with failure, and what you can do to change that mindset
First of all, failure is not fun in the moment. It’s also not something that’s celebrated in our society.
It’s counterintuitive, but the more you give yourself permission to fail, the more chances you have of succeeding in the long term.
Another thing to consider is whether or not you’re actually being challenged, and whether or not you love what you’re doing.
7:31 – Quentin’s 0 to 1 million challenge
Quentin shares the backstory of how he started his challenge to start with 0 and make one million dollars in one year.
11:33 – Quentin’s most recent failure
16:04 – How to systematize your content
First, organization is key. Quentin has a searchable catalog of all the content he has created over the years.
Next, you need to document your processes. Outline the task, document the steps that you take, and have links to any resources needed. This will allow you to easily outsource.
Remember, structure is your friend. It allows you to create a repeatable process, which means you don’t have to reinvent the wheel every time.
20:32 – Quentin’s thoughts for entrepreneurs who have tried putting out content on social media, and aren’t seeing any success.
You probably haven’t tried to the extent that you think you have. It takes years of consistency and quality to start gaining traction.
Another thought is to approach your content like a business – is there a need for what you’re trying to put out there? What gap are you filling for your followers?
