LOOK BACKWARD TO MOVE FORWARD

LOOK BACKWARD TO MOVE FORWARD

Welcome to the Season 3 Premiere of the “Let’s Talk About It” Podcast! We all look forward to a better and healthier future, but sometimes we don’t take a moment to reflect on the journey. It’s important to look backward in order so you can move forward. One of the best ways to assess yourself is through asking questions. We challenge you to not only ask these questions to yourself, but discuss it with others!

Here are some suggestions as to who you can do this with:

  • Your Spouse
  • Your Family over a meal
  • Your Friends
  • Your Small Group
  • Your Journal

Below are the Questions that we’re asked during this episode. Screenshot these and use them to grow! Also, get creative and let the Holy Spirit move you and add additional questions during your time of discussion and journaling.

Ice Breaker: What was your most embarrassing moment of this past year?

  • What 1-3 lessons have you learned this past year?
  • As you reflect on the past year, what do you think the new year will be like for you?
  • In 1 word, how would you describe your hopes for the upcoming year/future?
  • What have you learned about God this past year?
  • What would you tell yourself from 1 year ago?
  • What was your song/anthem of the year? Why?
  • What’s your Movie of the Year? Why?
  • Do you have any New Years Traditions? What are they? Why?
  • With everything that’s happened in the past year, if today was your last day, what encouragement/word would you have for the world right now?

Additional Questions:

  • What did God reveal about you this past year (Healthy & Unhealthy)?
  • Based on what God has taught you, Who does He want you to become?
  • What ONE practical next step will you take to be the person God desires you to be?
