Session 24: Skill VS Talent

Have you ever thought about the difference between skill and talent? They’re both important, but knowing the difference can help guide us to live our life more intentionally. An article written by “Core Differences” addressed the differences between skills and talent (article available at the following link https://coredifferences.com/difference-between-talent-and-skill/). The five I specifically address are:

1.     Talent is the natural ability a person is born with while skill refers to competency learned.
2.     Talent tends to be hidden while skill is demonstrated.
3.     Talent requires coaching while skill requires training.
4.     Talent requires recognition while skill require development.
5.     Talent is possessed by few people whereas skill is possessed by many.

 Practical Next Steps to apply and consider are:
1.     Identify your Talent
2.     Live in your Talent
3.     Identify your Barriers
4.     Surrender it to God
