And for this particular episode, as always, we are looking into the latest news that's happened past week. We're attaching on the Hogwarts Legacy controversy that, oh, excuse a massive headache every time I think about it. But Alice, we're gonna cover it and then we'll go talk about the last of us, episode two, the Infected, cuz that, uh, wall, that was a very bit of an episode, wasn't it? Especially for someone who hasn't played the games, which yes, I know the hate will come in. I asked, I haven't played the games yet, but for a face value, this is looking fantastic, but I'll get into that later. We've got a little tidbits about new TV shirts on the horizon, some confirmations, if you will, of what we already kind of knew, just didn't know when. <laugh>,

So Invincible season two, the infamous Invincible season two that we've been clamoring for asking when, when, when, when, when, when, when, when, when, when, when, when, when. Finally, uh, the creator of the show posted Amazon's, uh, YouTube channel on, or ign everywhere else, a little short of invincible saying how he's been up to, he, I've been riding, I've been great, I've been doing this and doing this. And The Alien, that's B by Seth Rogan's, like, cool, just give us a date. Just know it. When are you coming back? Just tell me that, that's all I wanna know. And he's like, all right, I'll, I'll, he's like, I'm coming back late 2023. So we don't have a date, but what we do have is invincible. Season two, we'll be coming late 2023, which we kind of already predicted.

I just kind of like, I'm happy we're getting it this year. I wish we were getting it sooner cuz it's just that first season bl I don't think they expected that first season in bl as much as they did because we've already got a new season. But we know where everything with Covid has been delays everywhere. So let's understandable. But yes, guys, sail down Viz Will Season two Lake. Sorry, hope when he says late. They just meet November, December. Oh, I'm gonna be really pissed. <laugh>, uh, moving on. So this, we've also got a brand new semi re-release date for an upcoming game that will be arriving on Xbox. Now this particular game I saw probably about a year ago, uh, now it's probably about six guys who had a massive love ball, which you would think is Story Story, but I haven't asked how love for action figures as a kid when you grew up, you, you know, have all these extra figures, the attachments, all these, I mean, yeah, brand new one.

So these guys made this game and it's called Hyper Charge. It is no joke, it is Call of Duty meets to story. All small soldiers just like that movie. It is a game where you go into it. You uh, you, when you pick a character, you actually have to smash out the packaging to get out into the game. And you're either outside or you're in a kitchen or you're in a toy stool. You're in all these different places and every, all your reversing other toys, it is insane. And you need to go check this out. Now, when I first discovered this game, I was really annoyed cause I was like, and then said, it's coming to cold. So I was like, oh, that's great. We're now released on Twitch.

I judge it from everything how they're marketing, they're doing so many more reels. It's all over social media, it's all over everything saying it's gonna be released on Xbox. Sorry, it's assume it'd be the first quarter. Now this game, I just, it just looks so much fun. I don't have a pc, I'm a play station Xbox Gamer. I don't have a Twitch, sorry, Twitch. I don't have a switch. Uh, and it just looks like something fun, you know, it's something mad and you can just tell from everything they post about all the social media is that this game is completely mad out of love and their determination is just fantastic. And it's, it's great to see.

Uh, I think that's, you know, that's good stuff for a show. Uh, but yes, they will be leaving. So enjoy the last few seasons that you, uh, gisi. Uh, also moving on Freddy also at the end of this year, we will also be getting a Ghostbusters afterlife sequel. Uh, it's called Lighthouse. Uh, I think they're working Tiles Light, uh, firehouse. Sorry. Uh, apparently the rumor is the fact that they will be moving away from New York for the very first time in the franchise and they'll be going to London, uh, with some of the original cast also returning.

All we know is that now the Ghostbusters are back, um, a new lighthouse and well Firehouse, sorry, new team, new Generation. And I guess the earlier do is Ghostbusters Go Global. Uh, instead of just being New York based, they're gonna try and go global and have teams in different countries, which I'm fully stoked for. If that's the case. And I can't always see Ghostbusters Worldwide <laugh>. Uh, and if you haven't already do go check out Ghostbusters Unleashed. If you really wanna feel like a true Ghostbuster, that does it very well. But yes, the new Ghostbusters where he is meant to be arriving in December this year, um, that's, that's where it's gonna be popping up. But there's still very little, very little details that we've got besides that. Uh, moving on. We also got a trailer for Dam too.

It's not one part. It just to me looks like a massive c g i slug fest back and forth. And like the actual school, the CGI looks good, but the overall story, I'm not, uh, I'm not over excited for.

So does it make it really hard? And part of me think yes, cause I'm watching this, so I'm just like, where is this gonna lead? Is no confirmation is name three obviously, uh, apparently James Gun said name is, is staying and obviously Jam's. One of J's biggest villains is, is Black Adam, uh, the Rock is no longer playing black Adam. So what's that gonna lead to? And we don't know if Wonder Woman's gonna appear Superman's Delphy not gonna appear at all. Batman's obviously not appearing. So it's always, you're just watching this movie for me, he's like just watching this movie just as a fun last rah Forza basically because I, I don't even know, even even when like to my friends, I have one mate who's excited for it and everyone and everyone else is pretty much, yeah, Alco said Cuzz, it's DC But I honestly, besides everything with Ala Miller, I'm more excited for the Flash because Benfield, again, because of Michael Keaton shas, no excited, no excited one bit, not one point goes, oh, wild buzz go.

Uh, another thing is that for a red fall, uh, the new game coming on Xbox exclusive, uh, over with vampires Teamwork online game, we finally got a release date for that May the second.

Cause when it's delay you don't know if it's because they need more time to affect the game or there's a really big issue. So all the best unfortunately are only Xbox exclusive. That's the downside of it. Uh, moving on. So also for any TUR fans, Amazon have bought the streaming routes for it and we'll be getting a tur at TV show, uh, Nova League State early concept. Just riding it. It will be based on the brand new games, uh, that will made by Crystal Dynamics. I'm pretty sure that is, will be based off this.

Not saying there is a superhero fatigue. I think streaming services are looking, are now focusing on what they can adapt in. Video games, you know, they've done multiple different things. They've done, uh, you know, superheroes, TV shows, they've done multiple times, you know, and even, even older.

So it looks like distribution services are investing a lot more into video games, which is fantastic, which I would love. I would love, cause I saw there was a big petition on Twitter just a couple days ago, is I would love to see a red Dev redemption TV show. I feel like that would be, it would be fantastic then they could do it different ways. They could do a season one for the first game and season two for the second game. But seeing John Ma on screen, just the first Red Dead redemption story as an Amazon Prime keeping show.

But there is, I do know there's a YouTube, uh, right now who has actually been rebuilding the game from the ground up very slowly, but for people. So that's in the works.

Strong gaming is because for some reason the soundtrack of Simpsons Here Run is now on Spotify and Apple Music. Now the only reason that usually happens is something is going to denounced very soon. Which, if that is the case, take my money. I would reckon love that. If they did. Uh, it's, uh, it's a, it is one of my favorite games as a kid and I just would love to see it. Just something simple. Yeah, I will, I would love a full remaster or remake from the ground up. Just make that world a little bit bigger. That would be great. However, oh, because the world's so small, dunno how it works, especially with all the new episodes and a new generation to old generation.

Now, when I say this, I, I mean, I mean nothing, I I don't mean nothing, but I just wanna be very blunt about it. Basically. Uh, now Alwars legacy, this is coming out fete. Now this is a game where it's a prequel to the Harry Potter movies. And essentially it's you as your own person, which or wizard. And you get to go through your story of Hogwarts is a massive open world game where you get to do classes, you get to fly a broom, you get to explore the entire world of Hogwarts without, you know, anything that's happening from the books. It's fully separate except for the school. Uh, it's fully separated away and you get to do everything.

You can just be as evil as you want. Now, a big thing that has been going all over TikTok, which is TikTok Twitter, and these same people, they're saying these same things have also gone after Mark Hamel because he liked a tweet from j Rowling. So now people are currently calling, uh, mark Hamel these words as well. So a big thing that, uh, that's been blowing up is because j Rowling has made comments, uh, they're quite a little bit anti trance, basically, uh, anti-trans. And, and she's, uh, that's her own thing that she's doing. That's completely her own thing. Nothing to do about Harry Potter. That's interview at the game. Uh, so she's made those comments and that's her separate thing.

I'm telling you right now, if you buy Hogwarts legacy, it has nothing to do with you being anti trams phobic or you support j railings comments. There, there is no connection at all. And it's a horrible thing that people of connecting this game to those comments, gaming has nothing to do with political agendas or genders or anything like that. Gaming has nothing to do with that. It's completely separate. The whole point of video game is that people sit down and you play this game and you enter this world. You shouldn't be judged on what games you buy that you enjoy or any of these comments, which I think is utterly absurd.

Most will probably not care at all because it, it's just a game. It has noth I'm not going, you are not going to rallies for JK rallying being, yes, I support her or I'm supporting this. You are literally buying a game. That's it, in your own home. No public display. I'll accept a few livestream, but that's besides the point. Sorry, this is why I wanted to bring this up because I just found it just bullshit. Because, you know, not only as we adults are buying this game, the kids, kids are buying this game.

You know, if you're a Louis kid and you're, you got Harry Potter and you wanna buy the game, but you, you know, people say these comments, it's just astounding me that people have turned this game into political, that even the craters of the game have said, we've just made this game so you can go and be in the Harry Potter world as your own person and in who enjoy this world.

You know, people used to blame the gaming for violence and children and which she got disproven multiple times that the violence is separate and it's, well, it can some crossover, but it's not the game. It's not the game and it's terrible. The people who use it as a scapegoat, uh, you know, for free and for Australia.

And so they f think fuck the actual thing got rechanged and we are now we have RA games. But yeah, we know used to have that because they were like older children. Even the fact that the statistics say the fact that with the demographic of people playing games has completely shifted from a yo much younger generation to like, in your mid twenties and early twenties.

That's bullshit that people go on TikTok and Twitter. Say all these controversy about the Hogwarts game. Just let the cane come out and keep the JK railing, keep the anti intro anti-trans out of it.

I'm like, oh, why do he has these violin video games, like video games are for kids. I'm like, no, these violin video games are for me and my kids will have separate video games cuz I'm an adult.

This looks fantastic and I can't wait for it to come out a new season. This will be the very first, uh, very first Star War show to come out this year. Now Mandalorian now we know for the last season this will be a battle for the dark Sabba. He's going to Mandalore because he took his hell off so he can become a Mandalorian again. But we got a lot of returning characters.

Now I haven't played the Last of Us video game, Richard. I w this show has made me really want to play it. Now the reason why I do, I haven't played it is like, hey, it just wasn't my thing. Uh, my, my thing for a video games is, uh, action, which yes or no, it is uh, action and simulation. It's probably my two things. Uh, but this show is making me want to go play the game for the very first time, which I was saying my last episode.

Like all of Cecil look fantastic. The CGI looks fantastic and it really sets the tone. You can really tell how much love and dedication has gone into this show.

I was like, oh, well it's coming, it's coming. But, uh, it's, it's really setting the tone. Like just her fear when she's sitting there talking to the military person.

Now as episode begins, uh, they're now they're going, uh, on their journey to obviously take Ali to the LZ and just go through the city. It's just showing a decay city. Uh, uh, sorry. So as it's going along, we do see, um, the more interaction, then we get them going to the museum, which is very quiet, intense scene with the clicks. And I've seen people mention about the clickers before and I was like, I have no idea what that is. And then I was watching, I was like, this is creepy as fuck. This is really creepy. I'm like, okay, that's creepy. And just the, just their sticks of their face and I'm not moving. And when they get attacked in the museum, I was like, that's creepy. Just that I can't do it. If I do it, I sound like a dolphin, uh, <laugh>. So I did, I did like that. And as it keeps, as it keeps going, uh, we do see even the quiet scenes are fantastic.

But I do love the movies. I do love that unsettling feeling, that creep you feeling that you get and how people can, you know, make a movie where you are just fit, scared and shitting through your pants. Uh, so this is never interior shoot that I would usually watch at all. Um, cause I never watched The Walking Dead and just watching it, just the intense and how, how scary it is. And the clickers was poor. A little bit intense. But makeup hysterically great, loved it.

Now Joel mentions the fact that, oh no, sorry, it was Tess mentions the fact in the air you shoot someone over here, they can feel it over there like this fungus can, it's like a heartbeat and it can feel from point to point when something happens that's creepy. You know, it is giant fungus they can feel from everywhere because of what happens. But one of the people that gets shot was coming alive to go attack. Now what they did was, as you would shoot it, and then we get this really cool scene where the fungal comes around, starts getting into the body and then you can see it start having to another person.

Creepy. And I get it's very unsettling, Mary, if this ever happened, which I did say a post earlier, the fungal is real too. Uh, it's a, it's a real thing. So that's kind of creepy. And season one was three to four years ago, which is sad cause it takes so long and it's always not as long as it takes for these games to get made, but it's like go on, pump it down a little bit faster.

No, it was completely random and started doing that. And I saw people think because she was infected, she was, that's why she was drawn to it. But boys, she kisses him, but she gets a lie going, drops it <unk> blows everything up and gives and gives the others time to run away.

And for e for a video game show, first two episodes have been fantastic and obviously the episode three comes out, it's, I'm sure there will be dead as well. But all the reviews I've been seeing for this show all, uh, all been fantastic. I couldn't, there wasn't one part I think, oh, that wasn't, that wasn't great. Uh, I wasn't fantastic for, for Zombie. Oh, zombie TV show, you know, as you could say, uh, I am enjoying it.
