EP 117. Have you crashed like Sarah does in this real-life story? Sarah Panus shares what helped her, so you can check in with your own body and see if you need to plan some rest to function better.
From one Type-A personality to another, this message is for you, you ARE allowed to take time for yourself and rest!
Sounds foreign doesn’t it? But, let me tell you a secret, resting is productive, especially when you are constantly on the go, like myself, and start to feel it in your body.
This was my experience after coming down with the dreaded “mom cold”. You know, that cold that just doesn’t want to go away? I had to give myself permission to rest, even though it wasn’t natural for me, and the outcome was great!
In today’s episode, you will hear about my journey dealing with my cold and how I decided to give myself permission to rest, as well as what I learned from doing so.
It’s important to note that getting this sick and burnt out is preventable, as long as we remember to check in on ourselves from time to time, and listen to what our bodies are telling us, which is why I present you with this quick tip today!
Tune in to hear this and more.
