Kim tells us about how taking on the mindset to embrace living with self-doubt was instrumental in building her confidence. She explained that being realistic to know, since she’s not positioned to say she will never have to deal with self-doubt for the rest of her life, she has learned to appreciate her coexistence with it. Kim does a verbal demonstration, and she tells her personal story of how her self-talk hindered her progression. She then learned how necessary it was to be honest about the partial and full statements of validity where she began taking advantage and using those statements to equip her clarity. She gave examples to show how discovering truthful, yet conflicting self-talk initially made her feel bad, sad, or frustrated, while later, her discovery of this validity also transitioned into an acceptance of coexistence. Her coexistence with self-doubt. This discovery led to a lessened need to prioritize performing for others because she became more self-aware of what fulfilled her, while she also began to build her confidence. Kim mentioned, this same processing unfolds when we’re initially hindered with self-doubt from other people’s statements and views about us. She added, the same strategic approach for dismantling the self-doubt from our own words should be adhered to when we’re also hindered from what other people say about us.
