Thank you for not shying away from needed topics!
It can be hard as a Muslim to find spaces where people are openly talking about topics that most people shy away from. This podcast is a breath of fresh air and always leaves me with a different perspective on raising kids and being a Muslim mom in this society.

Listen to this NONstop
What an easy to listen to, relevant and relatable podcast. As a former TV and radio producer I often listen to podcasts and judge the errs and arrs and found after listening to 2 episodes that I had NOT critiqued under my breathe! Thank YOU so much for this podcast Zaiba and Uzma! 6 Stars!

Wonderful
I love the advice they give on parenting! You can feel their love and passion in every episode. Regardless of your faith I feel like they give valuable insight to parenting

The friends I wish I had
Love hearing the conversations of the cohosts. The sisters are the friends I wish I had at my mosque. Being a convert/ revert and be very isolating and with these ladies I feel like I belong, thank you.

Vital + non-judgmental conversations about hard topics for Muslim moms
Thoroughly love the deep dive into difficult topics through the lens of Islam but done in a ground-breaking earnest, kind and non-preachy way. These beautiful mamas are having hard conversations that we’re all grappling with!

A mamas dream come true
This podcast has been everything I need in life. When I first found it a year ago I binged on the content till I finished it. To add to it all Uzma and Zaiba are so approachable online and receptive to suggestions. The guests they bring on broaden my horizons and perspectives in ways I didn’t even realize were limited. They are not afraid to talk about taboo topics (they love too actually lol) and always back up their information with resources and a fun time.

Muslim mom’s dream come true
As a muslim mother of two trying to raise kids in America, this podcast is a dream come true! Uzma & Zaiba cover so many wonderful topics that all moms deal with on a daily basis, but from an islamic perspective. These girls have become part of my mom tribe and I look forward to all their episodes… discussing the good, bad, and ugly of motherhood in America!

Saddened
I appreciate the topics covered. What I want to stress is the importance of messaging. While you do say you are not giving advice on marrying outside the religion, you could at least give the Islamic ruling on the topic and the understood draw backs, never mind the clear ruling. We are not here to judge, but you are giving a platform. If you don’t have the Islamic knowledge you have a responsibility to bring speakers or resources that address the topic, if you are going to discuss this VERY relevant topic.

Real Talk
Uzma and Zaiba are the perfect co-hosts and partners...so opposite from each other and yet deeply caring and wanting to impact Muslim moms in an authentic way. They ask the real questions and I love the topics they cover with the guests they bring on. If you’re a Muslim mom (or any mom, quite frankly!) this is a must listen!

Perspective with a difference
When you think two peas in a pod, it’s def not Uzma and Zaiba, and that’s the beauty of it! They have such different personalities yet they work so well together. Their topics and guests are relevant and question that many Muslim moms are asking!

Real, raw and riveting
Listening to Zaiba and Uzma discuss the truths behind motherhood while also facing reality post 9/11 as a muslim is such a weight lifter off the chest - so many women struggle through the same circumstances and share similar experiences, but it is never expressed because we are always trying to showcase our best appearance in society. I absolutely love this genuine duo and their chemistry on air with other guests who get to share their stories and advice to fellow mothers out there as well. Thank you for your show ladies!!!

Refreshing and much needed - Support for all Mums
I love this podcast for multiple reasons. Here they are in no particular order:
1) The banter between Uzma and Zaiba (the hosts) is entertaining. They both have different styles of presenting
2) The guests - not always famous or influencers, but people who the audience can identify with
3) Professionalism
4) Real Talk - Love when they have supporting chats on Instagram or FB about topics on their mind. They are real mums who say it the way it is (no fluff)
5) They address topics that are typical taboo in muslim communities such as sunni/shia, sex
6) Topics are relevant to muslims and non muslims, all ages
I could go on. Def check them out, if you havent done so already!

A podcast for everyone
I love the informal yet informative conversations on these podcasts. Zaiba and Uzma bring on very qualified guests to discuss daily concerns of families, and sometime in between, they show the reality of muslims in America. The interfaith discussions are my favorites.

White Christian Dad - Transforming Understanding
I am a White Christian Dad and according to the experts I’m not at all the target audience for this podcast.
And yet in each episode I find myself humbled and provided with the rare opportunity of transforming my understanding without any fear of what that will result in. Truth be told it provides an intimacy with the Divine that I can’t explain.
I’ve yet to listen to an episode that requires me to believe in something specific to understand the humanity and touch of God in the situation. Yes some of the references and phrases are not familiar but don’t let that dissuade you from what Uzma and Zaiba are actually doing each time they hit record and publish an episode.
They are loving not only the people they have on their show but those working within it (tip of the hat to the staff btw!) and anyone who is listening.
Don’t let the words they are saying or not saying distract from the embodiment of their actions.
Doesn’t the fruit of a tree indicate it’s nature?

Much needed topics
I’ve been non stop listening the last few days! These are very important topics we need to talk about. This opens the dialogue and InshaAllah change will follow. I really hope the men in our community listen in. Men we need YOU to step in and help us bring change. Especially holding these imams accountable.

GREAT PODCAST!
