Don’t know the artists on the lineup? That's the point. #UPNEXTFEST was a micro music festival at Cambridge’s Middle East showcasing four artists, handpicked for their promise of breaking through to the mainstream music industry. On the lineup was this year’s Boston Music Awards Singer-Songwriter of the Year Maeko and New Artist of the Year nominee STEFAN THEV, as well as New York talent Sectiontoo and Retrograded. The artists were presented at #UPNEXTFEST in digestible, 30 minute sets for straightforward discovery.
#UPNEXTFEST was hosted by Brendan Jeannetti of Big Night Enertainment’s Music You’re Missing Podcast, which has been featured on Apple Podcasts’ New and Noteworthy collection and has amassed millions of likes on social media. The event kicked-off with a VIP Experience including an in-depth Q&A session with all of the artists, hosted by Brendan Jeannetti.
