Stop hitting pause on your life to heal, it's just preventing you from living.

Stop hitting pause on your life to heal, it's just preventing you from living.

It's possible to obsess about healing the trauma that we become part of the problem and not the solution. We allow ourselves to think about our lives more than we live them. Thus perpetuating all the old cycles and truths, we hold deep down about our unworthiness to find happiness for real.

Binge thinking happens when introspection becomes the means to avoid a problem. Evaluating your life, the trauma, and the work you've done is supposed to facilitate living it, not the other way around. When the obsession with healing becomes the focus, we are letting our lives exist more in our heads than in reality.

Today's episode is a deep dive into the way we sabotage our own journey through the obsession to heal a little more and better than we did yesterday. If we don't allow ourselves to embody the life we are living and take action daily to experience it, then what is the point of all this work? We have to stop thinking about taking action and actually take it in order to evolve and heal fully in the present.

We're creating a community that we've all been craving! Head to Facebook and Click here to join My so-called healing community, and invite your friends too! This will be the go-to spot for conversations, connection, and more one-on-one with us!

We believe when you share openly with someone about your own struggles, you create a safe space that gives them permission to share openly and honestly also, and that's the most powerful catalyst to change and connection. We believe healing is a journey, not a destination. If you're struggling, know you are not alone, and this, too, will pass.
