Making Time to Cook with Mia Moran | CNC72

Making Time to Cook with Mia Moran | CNC72

When you have planned out your week and know what to expect, things tend to go much smoother. The same goes for meal planning! Mia Moran, the founder of Plan Simple and Flow365, has developed a program to help busy moms and women plan meals, eat healthier, and have additional time throughout their day to focus on other things that will move them into the future self that they want.

About the Guest:

Mia Moran is a mom of three, coach, bestselling author, and podcaster at Plan Simple who makes time for wellness—and shows time-strapped women how they can too. She is creating a movement of moms who end overwhelm and embrace balance through small, doable changes.

Mia’s wellness adventure became a full-blown ride about 12 years ago during a health crisis when she understood the power food could have on her health, her family connection, and her productivity. That experience led her to become a student of food, wellness, spirituality, motherhood, and productivity.

She experienced two unforeseen gifts from this journey. First, the practice of finding ease, despite balancing what looks like a full plate of work, home, motherhood, and food. Second, the gift of a good plan. She wrote her book Plan Simple Meals to help every woman begin that part of her journey. Since then, she has developed the Flow Planner and Flow365.

Today, she’s still a working mom and wife with three kids – her job description is a bit different, and her kids are a few years older, but she feels healthier and happier each year. She can honestly say that it gets better and better. She knows what having tons of energy feels like! She juggles the roles of mom, wife, writer, teacher, and CEO with a genuine smile.

About the Host:

Following the crumbs in the chaos is a full time job. As a busy mom of three, a wife to a traveling hubby, and keeping it weird in Austin, Texas, it’s safe to say that my life is never boring. In addition to running my coaching business as C’N’C’s CEO, I’m a certified coach for a premier virtual fitness and nutrition program helping others feel better while sustaining a healthy lifestyle. My mom and dad are thrilled that I’m putting my Exercise Science degree to good use. Along with my experience training pro athletes, S.W.A.T. members, and a high school football team, I gained 10+ years experience as the Director of Marketing building multiple court reporting companies. Lastly, I am a published writer, Content Coordinator, and Account Executive for a publication by Best Version Media.

They even gave me a monthly “How to” column where I teach others how to be more self-sufficient with common household tasks. Every woman should know how their home functions and what to do if something malfunctions, man or no man. With my husband on the road, searching “How To” on the internet has transformed me into a “Mommy MacGyver”. “I don’t know how you have the time.” “You’re like a Supermom!” These are common things that people say, but the truth is that life hasn’t always been easy or pretty. Even with the bumps, I always try to find the humor in everything because laughter is good for the soul and you should never take life too seriously….where’s the fun in that?
