Jennifer Takagi:

Let's go. Welcome to destined for success.

Jennifer Takagi:

I'm your host Jennifer Takagi and it's pot a Palooza Day I

Jennifer Takagi:

just love PATA Palooza Day, I get to interview all kinds of

Jennifer Takagi:

amazing people that I may or may not have encountered otherwise.

Jennifer Takagi:

The next guest is super fun because I met her in person

Jennifer Takagi:

first. And then we saw each other online. So that's just

Jennifer Takagi:

really a whole it's a whole new dynamic in this day and age.

Jennifer Takagi:

Welcome, my friend Dagmar Fleming to the stage. DAGMAR How

Jennifer Takagi:

are you today?

Dagmar Fleming:

Oh, I am fabulous. And I am so excited to

Dagmar Fleming:

be here and conversing with you and checking into this universal

Dagmar Fleming:

consciousness of success.

Jennifer Takagi:

I love it. So, we did meet actually on

Jennifer Takagi:

something called the marketers cruise. And so how fun is it to

Jennifer Takagi:

do business on a cruise ship? And we did we met some amazing

Jennifer Takagi:

people. But why don't you share with the audience how you show

Jennifer Takagi:

up in the world who you help how you do that? Like what makes

Jennifer Takagi:

Dagmar Fleming Dagmar

Dagmar Fleming:

Oh, wonderful. Thank you for asking. So I

Dagmar Fleming:

actually came from an ex communist country, Poland. I've

Dagmar Fleming:

been in America for the last 30 years and really enjoyed

Dagmar Fleming:

pursuing American dream college education, corporate Korea, and

Dagmar Fleming:

I even started my own global consulting company. But then

Dagmar Fleming:

something happened, I had my OMG moment and realize that I wanted

Dagmar Fleming:

to do more than just helping entrepreneurs expanding to

Dagmar Fleming:

foreign markets. So I did a 180 degrees switch and a focused on

Dagmar Fleming:

a personal transformation. And helping business owners release

Dagmar Fleming:

the emotional and mental blocks that keep them stuck at certain

Dagmar Fleming:

level, and not progressing to the next stage of their

Dagmar Fleming:

expansion.

Jennifer Takagi:

I love that. And I mean, our stories, we

Jennifer Takagi:

haven't really ever talked about this. But our stories have some

Jennifer Takagi:

similar parallels. After years in corporate and government

Jennifer Takagi:

work, I made a shift into entrepreneurship, doing

Jennifer Takagi:

leadership development, and then there was a little something

Jennifer Takagi:

missing. And that's when I got into the whole energy side of

Jennifer Takagi:

the world and spiritual healing and personal development. And

Jennifer Takagi:

it's been just a really fun ride.

Dagmar Fleming:

Well, it's a different environment, and that

Dagmar Fleming:

you did hint on the the realm of energy healing, emotional

Dagmar Fleming:

release. Our stories are very similar. I come from a family

Dagmar Fleming:

background of really true energy healers, and spiritual leaders.

Dagmar Fleming:

So coming to America and focusing on the very corporate

Dagmar Fleming:

development, I felt that the part of me was missing that

Dagmar Fleming:

there was part of me, that was unexpressed. So by being able to

Dagmar Fleming:

transition from more of a business consulting, into

Dagmar Fleming:

personal development, I was able to bring that intuitive insight

Dagmar Fleming:

and way to app shift to the next level, by working with my

Dagmar Fleming:

clients more on how they show up in the world, and what mindset

Dagmar Fleming:

they bring into their actions.

Jennifer Takagi:

So what are some things that we could do to

Jennifer Takagi:

like, I love that intuitive insight? I love the term

Jennifer Takagi:

intuitive leadership, like leaning into that intuitive

Jennifer Takagi:

message. What does that mean for you? And how do you help clients

Jennifer Takagi:

develop more of that?

Dagmar Fleming:

I love teaching my clients how to use intuition

Dagmar Fleming:

in business. Because every single human being is intuitive.

Dagmar Fleming:

Every single human being has access to this higher wisdom

Dagmar Fleming:

that some people simply call gut feeling. And yet, if we follow

Dagmar Fleming:

that sense within us, we can make decisions in business that

Dagmar Fleming:

are optimized for our success. So, for example, I always advise

Dagmar Fleming:

my clients, if you're going to a networking meeting, instead of

Dagmar Fleming:

just marching into the room and finding a corner to hiding, take

Dagmar Fleming:

a moment to scanner the room and see if you have that urge to

Dagmar Fleming:

connect with someone. Perhaps something about the demeanor

Dagmar Fleming:

will catch your attention. That inner mind inner whisper is

Dagmar Fleming:

telling you that is the person that I might be able to connect

Dagmar Fleming:

with very well. And when you do, most magical moments can happen.

Dagmar Fleming:

In fact, I have a personal story. I was at EA women network

Dagmar Fleming:

probably 20 years ago at a you women Network Conference. I was

Dagmar Fleming:

waiting in line to have a seat right at the front of the stage

Dagmar Fleming:

because I've wanted to see Sandra Yancey literally within

Dagmar Fleming:

two feet. So I stood in line for 30 minutes, the doors open, I am

Dagmar Fleming:

only the fifth person in line. So I'm marching into that room

Dagmar Fleming:

looking at 100 tables, knowing the table rating, this center by

Dagmar Fleming:

this stage is mine. And then I here go to the last row. So

Dagmar Fleming:

wait, no, no, absolutely not, I didn't just spend 30 minutes in

Dagmar Fleming:

line to go to the last row. But you know, sometimes when

Dagmar Fleming:

intuition talks to us, it's unfolding major quantum leap. So

Dagmar Fleming:

I did go to the last row, and there in the middle of the last

Dagmar Fleming:

row was a lady sitting by herself. So I'm thinking like,

Dagmar Fleming:

well, if I'm gonna sit here, at least there's somebody like me

Dagmar Fleming:

that wants to be a loser at the very end, we might as well be in

Dagmar Fleming:

that loser category together. So I sit down, we strike a

Dagmar Fleming:

conversation. Turns out, she has multiple national radio shows

Dagmar Fleming:

and TV shows. And she invited to me to be on her show. And that

Dagmar Fleming:

was my first major national interview that I received simply

Dagmar Fleming:

by following this intuitive guidance to go to the back. So

Dagmar Fleming:

you never know what's gonna unfold if you just tune in.

Jennifer Takagi:

And so I love that story so much, because I

Jennifer Takagi:

typically have an idea. And it's only happened a couple of times,

Jennifer Takagi:

but it was so true. Like, stay completely away from this

Jennifer Takagi:

person, like they are bad, they are bad news, they are not going

Jennifer Takagi:

to bring you anything good into your life. And unfortunately, I

Jennifer Takagi:

was right. I wanted to be wrong really badly. But I was not

Jennifer Takagi:

wrong. But when you walk into your room like that, for me, to

Jennifer Takagi:

listen to my intuition, I really have to be quiet and still. And

Jennifer Takagi:

so I can imagine walking in a room like that people are

Jennifer Takagi:

talking, everybody's trying to get in, everybody wants that

Jennifer Takagi:

front table seat that you are going for, do you have some tip

Jennifer Takagi:

for me and the audience on how to how to tune in very quickly,

Jennifer Takagi:

when you might be in a more chaotic environment.

Dagmar Fleming:

So a lot of times, we don't realize it, but

Dagmar Fleming:

we sit concentrated in our head. So all the fears, all the

Dagmar Fleming:

anxiousness, even strategies, tactics that we can see all of

Dagmar Fleming:

that is sitting much higher. So if you imagine as your Soul

Dagmar Fleming:

Train to enter into your body, it rarely gets past the chin. So

Dagmar Fleming:

it's kind of hard to listen to something when you know you have

Dagmar Fleming:

no connection with that inner wisdom. So by simply standing

Dagmar Fleming:

for a moment still and imagining that you're bringing that your

Dagmar Fleming:

own essence down into your stomach area, and even lower

Dagmar Fleming:

into your sacral area. Sacral Chakra, you start embodying your

Dagmar Fleming:

own wisdom, and it creates this grounding effect. We're now the

Dagmar Fleming:

brain can release all that yapping at chatter like a

Dagmar Fleming:

Chihuahua. And you can start listening to the actual voice of

Dagmar Fleming:

that inner wisdom that every single human being possesses.

Jennifer Takagi:

Those every second, you walk in the room and

Jennifer Takagi:

all the chaos, you just pause for half a second.

Dagmar Fleming:

Yeah, and bring it into you literally

Dagmar Fleming:

consciously. For people who have hard time visualizing energy,

Dagmar Fleming:

you can just change focus, instead of focusing in your

Dagmar Fleming:

head, bring focus to the lower part of your abdominal, to like

Dagmar Fleming:

your gut area. And just by simply drawing attention to that

Dagmar Fleming:

part of your body, you will start embodying yourself much

Dagmar Fleming:

better.

Jennifer Takagi:

Oh, I love that. I'm often asked that

Jennifer Takagi:

myself, like, how do you do that? No. one's like, well, it's

Jennifer Takagi:

usually quiet. I'm usually quiet. I've had a couple of

Jennifer Takagi:

funky cars, situations where I just knew something bad was

Jennifer Takagi:

gonna happen. And I was like, How do I tell the next car I

Jennifer Takagi:

knew this guy was going to run this light. And the guy next to

Jennifer Takagi:

me was going to T boned him because she couldn't see him.

Jennifer Takagi:

And I just intuitively knew they don't teach you this and

Jennifer Takagi:

Driver's Ed, but it was like Jennifer slam on the brakes and

Jennifer Takagi:

the horn and she will she will react and that's exactly what

Jennifer Takagi:

happened. And we got to the next light and she looked at me she

Jennifer Takagi:

goes, Oh my God, you saved my life. But it was like I know, I

Jennifer Takagi:

know. But it really wasn't me it was but I was in the car. I

Jennifer Takagi:

didn't even have the radio on. It was very quiet, very calm.

Jennifer Takagi:

But you have to be mindful of What's going on around you? So

Jennifer Takagi:

you walked in that room? And you're like, where do I need to

Jennifer Takagi:

sit? Because I'm going here. And it's like no, go over here. Hard

Jennifer Takagi:

left hard left.

Dagmar Fleming:

And you know, for those of our listeners who

Dagmar Fleming:

doubt that they have innate psychic abilities, talking about

Dagmar Fleming:

driving, we all instinctively know when someone's about to

Dagmar Fleming:

change the lane, don't we? How do we know it? How are we

Dagmar Fleming:

reading avid drivers, we've never met them all, we see a

Dagmar Fleming:

car. And yet you always know when someone's about to cut you

Dagmar Fleming:

on the road, or maybe that they're slowing down for exit.

Dagmar Fleming:

That is just a visual reminder that we do have way to connect

Dagmar Fleming:

to other human beings on a level that transcends words. And if we

Dagmar Fleming:

just give ourselves permission to believe that we are

Dagmar Fleming:

constantly communicating on the nonverbal level, then we can

Dagmar Fleming:

actually hear our own communication that's going on

Dagmar Fleming:

internally.

Jennifer Takagi:

Well, not so great about the cars because you

Jennifer Takagi:

do it's just, I don't remember, I've driven a lot lately and

Jennifer Takagi:

been in the car a lot, a lot more than normal, but it's like,

Jennifer Takagi:

yeah, I'd better just slow down, that guy is gonna cut right in

Jennifer Takagi:

front of me. And lo Behold, the guy cuts right in front of you.

Jennifer Takagi:

And I don't think it's like, I created my own reality like, oh,

Jennifer Takagi:

I may I manifested that guy to cut me off. No, I think I was

Jennifer Takagi:

just in tune with the fact that that just kind of look like what

Jennifer Takagi:

he was gonna do. And I just, I mean, I can be, you know, half a

Jennifer Takagi:

second later than I planned. And let him

Dagmar Fleming:

we can take those skills and apply to

Dagmar Fleming:

everything in life. I mean, let's talk about women who

Dagmar Fleming:

constantly attract schmucks into their lives, right. Let's

Jennifer Takagi:

talk about that. Yeah, it's one disaster,

Jennifer Takagi:

one dating disaster after

Dagmar Fleming:

another, right? Well, we you knew, I mean, let's

Dagmar Fleming:

face it, we know when we meet a person, whether this is a good

Dagmar Fleming:

person for you or not. And a lot of times we ignore the signs,

Dagmar Fleming:

these alarm bells. So there we are back in a relationship,

Dagmar Fleming:

that's not good. It can happen in business too. I mean, how

Dagmar Fleming:

many V A's you have to go through before you realize

Dagmar Fleming:

you're attracting the same person that has no drive or

Dagmar Fleming:

ambition? Perhaps there is something within ourselves that

Dagmar Fleming:

do create these situations until we say, Okay, time to take some

Dagmar Fleming:

pause and look at what's going on in my mind that I keep

Dagmar Fleming:

replicating the same situations that I don't like.

Jennifer Takagi:

I mean, I don't know why you're convicting me

Jennifer Takagi:

right now about my VA situation. But thanks for that. Well,

Dagmar Fleming:

I mean, I'm speaking, I'm speaking from my

Dagmar Fleming:

own experience, unfortunately, we do like to repeat patterns.

Dagmar Fleming:

We per Law of One Pearl universal law, each lesson

Dagmar Fleming:

should be learned only once, but we humans, we kinda like the

Dagmar Fleming:

redo remake. So we just keep repeating the same mistakes over

Dagmar Fleming:

and over again. And naturally, when most of us get to the point

Dagmar Fleming:

where we're done with the lesson. That's when the major

Dagmar Fleming:

shift, quantum change happens. So I certainly invite all of our

Dagmar Fleming:

viewers to take a moment and ask themselves a question. Why am i

Dagmar Fleming:

Repeating these experiences because there is a light at the

Dagmar Fleming:

end of a tunnel, we just have to put the bulb on.

Jennifer Takagi:

And sometimes we don't even realize there is a

Jennifer Takagi:

pattern. So I'm gonna go back to what I said a second ago about

Jennifer Takagi:

paying attention. Um, I there was a gal who had like three

Jennifer Takagi:

wrecks in a row. And semis just kept running her off the road.

Jennifer Takagi:

And I said, well, like what, you know, so scary. But what

Jennifer Takagi:

happened? We'll come to find out, I believe, from what she

Jennifer Takagi:

said, I'm not trying to pass judgment on this. I'm just

Jennifer Takagi:

trying to understand. It sounds like she's just riding in their

Jennifer Takagi:

blind spot. Well, if you keep driving next to a semi in their

Jennifer Takagi:

blind spot, they're going to keep running you off the road

Jennifer Takagi:

because they can't see you. And so, like, sometimes we do we

Jennifer Takagi:

have to have the same thing happened several times before.

Jennifer Takagi:

Like, wait, there is a pattern here. And do I like this

Jennifer Takagi:

pattern? Like there are some patterns I like and they're

Jennifer Takagi:

really great. And other patterns. Maybe I should not

Jennifer Takagi:

stay on that road.

Dagmar Fleming:

And awareness is the number one way to shift

Dagmar Fleming:

something. You're using the word blind spot, and that is the

Dagmar Fleming:

problem. A lot of times we do not know what kind of thought

Dagmar Fleming:

patterns we're operating on. Well, if you don't know that's a

Dagmar Fleming:

pattern. How on earth can you change that? So paying attention

Dagmar Fleming:

to yourself? Paying attention to your reality opens the door to

Dagmar Fleming:

something new. Like, worst comes to worse just by a mirror, look

Dagmar Fleming:

at you and ask yourself a question, what the heck am I

Dagmar Fleming:

doing? Why am I doing this? And you know, you mentioned

Dagmar Fleming:

something that really triggered a thought, in my mind, our focus

Dagmar Fleming:

creates reality. So coming back to this lady that kept running

Dagmar Fleming:

into the same accidents, you know, I have this funny story

Dagmar Fleming:

about my mom. Every time she visits me, she inadvertently

Dagmar Fleming:

breaks something. So, you know, last time she put it, an

Dagmar Fleming:

electric kettle on my oven and fried it completely. Before

Dagmar Fleming:

that, she broke the vacuum cleaner. It every time she

Dagmar Fleming:

comes, something falls apart. And I know that in her mind,

Dagmar Fleming:

she's trying to avoid this so intently that she's actually

Dagmar Fleming:

creating the disasters. Because think about it. If you are

Dagmar Fleming:

hanging on a tree, and you're thinking, I don't want to fall,

Dagmar Fleming:

I don't want to fall. I don't want to fall. What is your brain

Dagmar Fleming:

hearing?

Jennifer Takagi:

Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, so

Dagmar Fleming:

you're gonna fall. And she's constantly

Dagmar Fleming:

thinking about, I don't want to break it, I don't want to break

Dagmar Fleming:

it, I don't want to break it. So the only thing that her whole

Dagmar Fleming:

consciousness years is, it's time to break it again. And

Dagmar Fleming:

there it comes. So I would say we do need to be conscious of

Dagmar Fleming:

what's going on in their head, because avoiding a disaster is

Dagmar Fleming:

actually focusing on disaster itself. And then the more you

Dagmar Fleming:

try to avoid an accident, all you're gonna do is produce

Dagmar Fleming:

another one. So

Jennifer Takagi:

these little boys were about eight years old,

Jennifer Takagi:

and one of them had a little mini bike. And then the parents

Jennifer Takagi:

had quite a bit of land. So the boys could like do a lap go in

Jennifer Takagi:

circles. And the one little boy had not ridden motorcycles much

Jennifer Takagi:

and kept going. I don't want to hit that tree, I don't want to

Jennifer Takagi:

hit that tree. I don't want to hit that tree. And the the

Jennifer Takagi:

father of the other little boys that I watched him go around

Jennifer Takagi:

like 20 times he was great. And then finally me hit that tree.

Jennifer Takagi:

And it was because he was so focused on not hitting the tree,

Jennifer Takagi:

eventually he hit the tree. So if you focus on what you don't

Jennifer Takagi:

want, your brain doesn't know that negative, right? Like it

Jennifer Takagi:

just it finds the action verb and goes for that. So you're you

Jennifer Takagi:

have a thing, unlock your success. So what is something we

Jennifer Takagi:

can do listening to our intuition unlocks our success,

Jennifer Takagi:

being aware, unlocks our success, what else you got for

Jennifer Takagi:

us?

Dagmar Fleming:

Well, for all entrepreneurs, I would highly

Dagmar Fleming:

recommend that as you step into that business journey, that you

Dagmar Fleming:

take a moment and really dissect the limiting beliefs that are

Dagmar Fleming:

running in your head. And that what I mean by that is,

Dagmar Fleming:

especially when we jump from corporate career, where we feel

Dagmar Fleming:

invincible, because somebody else is responsible for results,

Dagmar Fleming:

and I just have to show up and be my beautiful me. And

Dagmar Fleming:

everything. Just you know, Patric just beautifully shows up

Dagmar Fleming:

in my mail and Everything's peachy. And then you go into a

Dagmar Fleming:

business journey. And suddenly, ooh, now I have to sell, I have

Dagmar Fleming:

to run an admin, I have to have a serum. And I have to write an

Dagmar Fleming:

email. And then I have to show up on Jennifer's podcast

Dagmar Fleming:

insanely intelligent. I mean, the pressures is on, right. So I

Dagmar Fleming:

think that when we are business owners, it's very important to

Dagmar Fleming:

take a moment every day, and really tune in. What are your

Dagmar Fleming:

unconscious fears? What are you afraid of? I'll never forget the

Dagmar Fleming:

first time I was invited to an interview, a radio interview, I

Dagmar Fleming:

froze, I panicked. I couldn't remember what my name was. I

Dagmar Fleming:

felt so uncomfortable showing up because there I was coming from

Dagmar Fleming:

20 plus years in global business career, known in the machinery

Dagmar Fleming:

industry, working with manufacturers, and I'm gonna

Dagmar Fleming:

show up as this woowoo metaphysical energy healing

Dagmar Fleming:

personal development specialist, and I thought, oh my goodness,

Dagmar Fleming:

I'm just gonna kill my career, my 20 year accomplishments in

Dagmar Fleming:

one interview, so I froze, I was so afraid to just show up as me.

Dagmar Fleming:

And I literally had to call my very good friend and say, can

Dagmar Fleming:

you practice with me asking me what my name is? So I can get

Dagmar Fleming:

unblocked and even tell you that I'm Dagmar Fleming. So You know,

Dagmar Fleming:

I had to really figure out what was going on in my head. Why did

Dagmar Fleming:

I attach so much of my identity to this corporate career, that

Dagmar Fleming:

when I started doing something completely different, I felt

Dagmar Fleming:

exposed that somehow I was worse off, or that people will judge

Dagmar Fleming:

me. And unfortunately, as entrepreneurs, we're constantly

Dagmar Fleming:

under observation of opinion and bias or judgment of other

Dagmar Fleming:

people. So you know, it's time to embrace who we are and move

Dagmar Fleming:

forward and say, Screw that I'm just gonna show up as me. And

Dagmar Fleming:

the right tribe will find me.

Jennifer Takagi:

Oh, my gosh, I love that the right tribe will

Jennifer Takagi:

find me because I made a big shift to you. And it was really

Jennifer Takagi:

a lot to step into. I'm an energy healer, I'm in the

Jennifer Takagi:

spiritual world. Because I'd always been so you know, black

Jennifer Takagi:

and white strategy. So I love that you kind of had that same

Jennifer Takagi:

moment of how do I how do I show up like this. So we talked just

Jennifer Takagi:

a second before we hit record, and you have a free gift for our

Jennifer Takagi:

audience. Let's that free gift, and we will drop the link in the

Jennifer Takagi:

show notes. But tell us about your gift, what you're offering

Jennifer Takagi:

us today.

Dagmar Fleming:

I'm very passionate about helping

Dagmar Fleming:

business owners break through their artificial money ceilings,

Dagmar Fleming:

or any money blocks that they may have. So I would like to

Dagmar Fleming:

share with our viewers four ways your brain is sabotaging your

Dagmar Fleming:

checking account. And in that guide, we will dive into the

Dagmar Fleming:

core four reasons that most business owners unconsciously

Dagmar Fleming:

get stuck below their income potential. And this is relevant,

Dagmar Fleming:

whether you're just making $100,000 or $10 million, because

Dagmar Fleming:

we all have a certain money ceiling. And I usually say the

Dagmar Fleming:

only difference is how many zeros are attached to that

Dagmar Fleming:

ceiling. So I hope that this resource will help open your

Dagmar Fleming:

mind to some concepts that you may be attaching your work to,

Dagmar Fleming:

or your concept of money making abilities, and most of all

Dagmar Fleming:

worthiness because most people feel so unworthy of money.

Jennifer Takagi:

Oh my gosh, that's such a beautiful gift. I

Jennifer Takagi:

love that. So is that do you have a link for that that you

Jennifer Takagi:

can share easily? Or do we just leave the other show notes?

Jennifer Takagi:

Where do we get this?

Dagmar Fleming:

It's absolutely if you come to my website Dagmar

Dagmar Fleming:

fleming.com right there on the homepage, you'll be able to grab

Dagmar Fleming:

it. All

Jennifer Takagi:

right. Dagmar fleming.com diehard. This has

Jennifer Takagi:
