Welcome back to another edition of health hack. And this week, I am talking to you about chronic illnesses, because chronic illnesses are the epidemic in our world today. In fact, six in 10 Americans 60% have been diagnosed with at least one chronic illness, and 40% foreign 10 have more than one chronic illness. And very often we are led to believe that this is a life sentence. And we will have this chronic illness for the rest of our life. And I'm here to let you know that it doesn't have to be that way. And the reality is, is that chronic illness, our illnesses due to our lifestyle factors, and our lifestyle factors are not taught in medical school. And that's why our current medical model is failing us when it comes to helping people recover from chronic illness, we have to be looking at people's diet, at their exercise at their stress levels, at their sleep, at their mindset, et cetera. And when we look at all of those soon, those things including toxicity levels, as well as nutrient deficiencies from the poor diet, which has been pushed on us by the food industry, all the processed foods filled with sugar and chemicals. This is what it's calling this chronic illness or dis ease of the body. And what I want you to know is you don't have to accept this as a life sentence. We can absolutely reverse this because our incredible body is designed to self heal, when we create the environment for it to be able to do so the problem in today's world is that our body is nutrient deficient. And it's there's been too much stress, too little sleep and the poor diet which is causing this. And so our body doesn't have the energy or the nutrients in order to be able to heal. But when we help it and we give the body what it needs and bring it back into balance, it will then heal itself.
