Jakeena Geobani "You Are Not The Only One" | EP075

Jakeena Geobani

In this episode Jakeena Geobani talks about her journey where she was brought up in a very strict religious family in Portland, Oregon. Being one of the very few black children in her area she was bullied her entire childhood. She talks about how her mother, that she dearly loved, was a missionary and her Grandfather, a Bishop. She struggled with this environment because her upbringing was all based on religion and lacked love.

Jakeena is now openly talking about the truth and experiences that she encountered of what was being covered up behind the religion in her family. She was exposed and a victim to inappropriate sexual encounters as early as 7 years old. Her normalized environment was experiencing paedophlia, sexual assault, incest and orgy's. Jeekena's story is so inspirational and how she speaks her truth is her way of freeing herself. This is a must listen podcast!
