What? Life isn't supposed to suck. Get out of here. Life is supposed to be good for me? I don't think so. Truth? Did you know that you have the power to create your own reality? True? Did you know that you can live the life that you've always desired? Holy? That's right. And that's why we're here. Are you ready, unless you're on Joy overload, you've come to the right place, it's time to get out of your own way and start creating more of what you want, and less of what you don't end up with the excuses. I'm your host Jani Roberts, let's do this.
Jani Roberts:Welcome back, my friends, if you've been with us before, here at living in alignment, if this is your first time experiencing our podcast, Welcome, today we are going to be discussing empowerment, I hope that I am finding you in a very empowered state as you tune in, and if not, I'm quite certain that you will be feeling empowered by the end of our conversation today. So let's start by connecting to spiritual empowerment. Now, generally, people can feel a bit misguided around him empowerment in, in my opinion, because sometimes I feel as though when we are exposed to people who are very empowered, very much connected to their mind, body breath, spirit, and they've got that empowerment, energy, really in the flow. It can seem as though there's a lot of ego there. Now, it doesn't take long to identify whether or not that's the case. Because if there's a lot of I mean, me, me, we can know that there's work being done there. And we have no judgment around that. But a great indicator is a sense of peace, relax, ation, the relaxation, in a way, you know, someone who's extraordinarily high energy, just like they may be very, very excited, but they're really experiencing, like excess joy. So they are still out of balance. When we find out place of spiritual empowerment, there's, there's this peace, there's stillness, there's no like a feeling of coming home. And when we're around people who are tapped into their spiritual empowerment, we feel settled, we feel quieter, we feel safer. Right? And we can feel that they're very present, which then in turns allow, in turn allows us to be able to become more present. Certainly, we don't need them to do that in order to be as we would desire to be. But it is very contagious. That that energy very contagious, and very fun to be in. So spiritual empowerment is not about self absorption. It's really about connecting with something that is beyond our human experience. It's tapping into our own spirit. And the way we do this is to dive deeper, right, and to our own intention into our own connection to Source. So how do we do that? If you're not already doing it, or how do we keep that moving? How do we continue that we must nurture it, right? And through a practice of living our lives in a way that allows this kind of energy in and doesn't deflect it or resist it? It welcomes it in. So that feeling of edginess like I just can't sit still I can't chill out. I can't. I've got too much on my mind. I've got to get that energy right there. I've certainly experienced a lot of that. That is a resistance right to the peace and that is a sign of an imbalance and it is Oh kay. This is going to come and go all the time as we live in our human experience, but as we become more tuned in tapped in to our spirit. We can begin to balance that out and find that empowerment with peace. IISS. So we become confident in our ability to tap in to our breath and our mind and our body, and our spirit. So take a deep breath. And just sense that feeling of peace that comes with breath, let out a sigh. Like when you figure finished a big project or, or, you know, survived some type of experience with a loved one, and you just kind of sit down in awe, fall into the chair. And hopefully with a big smile, like as accomplished. Now we know with this work, we never get it done. And we're really excited about that. Because there's always more. So we want to be able to explore the energy that we hold inside. And this energy is one that unlocks our spirit, our mind, our body, our breath. It helps us to discover our desires, our intention, remember our intention, and to really uncovering connect with ourselves. It really is all about connecting with the divine, which is, you know, within each and every one of us without question. So if you're listening to this, and you're like, Yeah, everybody but me. Take another deep breath. Because you cannot be excluded from this, it is your divine right to experience this. So while you may feel extraordinarily disconnected in this moment, we honor that we will meet you wherever you are. But we are here to assure you, I can assure you that this does pertain to you. That you are worthy of it that it is divine inheritance for you. And that if you're willing to look and go within that healing can take place regardless of what has happened. So if you're choking back tears, or maybe you're just laughing at me right now, that's okay, too. I'll take it. Just know that all is well. And this madness that we can live in of thoughts and emotions and words and beliefs and doubts and worries. That lead to feeling overwhelmed, which we discussed last week, we understand how we lose our sense of direction of our we get we start wandering off our path, of course, right? Because we're in this madness, we need to stop the madness, we need to quiet the mind, we need to connect to spirit to our source and go within to do that. Feel so good. Speaking those words, and breathing that breath. And when we don't we experience a lot of imbalance, right? Physical imbalance for sure. So we need to ground we need to connect to the earth we need to tether ourselves. We do this here in alignment essentials through our Chi Gong and Tai Chi practices. We do this through our meditation practice. There are many ways, many tools. But when we're out of balance, we are where we are. And we need to acknowledge where we are. I'm feeling confused. I feel indecisive. I have anxiety. I feel restless. And I don't know why. I don't have anywhere to be it. I feel like there's somewhere I need to be. This is exciting. This is not a bad thing. This is a very good thing. This is the inner being indicating there is more for you. So if you're feeling like is this it? No, this is not it. If you're feeling like I mentioned confused, this is it. Now there's much more we go within, okay, we go within to figure this out. When we are feeling empowered on the other hand, and really on fire. We want to bask in this because we want to remember okay, this is what it feels like to feel connected. And we want to also remember, only I through co creation with creator can really empower myself.
Jani Roberts:Consistently and always. Other people can say things that empower us, of course we can be inspired. We can feel empower. Hopefully this conversation will empower you to take another step, but you have to take the step. Otherwise it's just right. We're human When lip service to it, we're not actually doing the work. So that being said, check out this example, let's say for example, you are in a situation where you are physically attacked. So you are in a situation where you're physically fighting back, now someone has come in to your space and impose their energy into your space. So this is something that's come in from the outside. So we're going to manage that in a certain way. Hopefully, we're just going to run, and that's going to be the end of it, we're going to create distance between ourselves and that experience. However, when we verbally or emotionally, mentally attack ourselves, this is a very different kind of attack. I just want you to sit with that for a minute. Because we all do it, we've all done it, maybe you don't do it so much anymore. And I'm celebrating that with you. And for myself as well. But of course, I can find myself slipping in that direction. But catching myself quickly now. So this is this is where we want to get to right. And this is, this is an ongoing practice, to remain in that space. To recognize, okay, I'm doing that thing I used to do, I don't want to do that. beating myself up is not going to empower me to my greatness, to my intention. It is not standing in my own self. It is fear driven. It is in that category with frustration, anger, doubt. All of that, that feeling of being overwhelmed that feeling of being feeling disempowered, I come up with this great idea. And then my boss says, That's ridiculous. I can't even believe you brought that to the table. Ouch. So I can beat myself up over that and buy into what that person just said to me. hook line and sinker. I can't live into that I just made a complete fool with it. Or I could not. I could stand in my power. I don't even have to speak words, if I don't feel led to I could say something like, I'm sorry, you don't see this. Or I can appreciate your perspective. That doesn't mean I agree with you. But I can appreciate your perspective. You know, how do I know that this person is just not in a really unclear place where their creative juices are not flowing, and they're angry about something else and unable to hear or see or feel, or absorb what I'm trying to share, I don't know that maybe they're educating me, maybe I am off track with my ideas. But that's great, because they're steering me. So if I can not be so reactive, and go into a place of disempowerment, and just stand in my truth, I am going to move through this much, much more easily. Yeah, it's gonna be easier. And there will be all that self damaging energy that really just takes the wind out of our sails. And it takes us instantly into a place that doesn't feel good, which is a huge indicator. Wrong Turn. Wrong Turn. So being able to have that perspective and look at things from that perspective is extraordinarily empowering. And when we are connected when we've been doing our work, when we're in our truth, and we know we are well intended, and we are not looking for we're not seeking approval. It's not an ego driven thing I'm bringing to the table what I feel led to bring and we can feel good about it no matter what wasn't what you wanted a blonde today. Well, I'm a redhead, not a match. You were looking for something in color, I brought you black and white. That's okay, just not a match. Does it make my work any less than and what I have found is things that I've created that weren't accepted at the time. I've kind of put them in a very special safe, if you will, and they have been nurtured and loved and have surface at a later time to be even more extreme. ordinarily divine and accepted with fully open minds and hearts and souls. Timing an interesting thing. So we want to really nurture, we want to really embrace. We want to understand that as we do this, we build the confidence that not only helps us to understand where we're starting from, but it also helps us to map out to use our connection as a GPS to guide us on the journey that we need to take in order to arrive in a place that serves. This is where empowerment comes from. This is what lifts us up and helps us to experience our life from a higher perspective. It takes our boots out of the mud. Alright, the mud being kind of the wanting or desire perspective of others, puts our feet in the dirt, connects us grounds us and tethers us in a way that nothing, literally nothing can project into it, no interference can come in, no separation can be had, we are fully connected to who we are, to our intention to this work, to joy to living a life in alignment, where we are always experiencing more of what we want and less of what we don't. Let's do this. Let's absolutely do this. So moving forward. We want to really work on developing this perspective of knowingness. So through your meditation, whether it's a standing practice of Qigong, tai chi, whatever you're choosing, this is mandatory. A quiet mind, in order to be able to hear to receive direction is essential. setting ourselves up for success by making this practice easy, attempting things that oh, yeah, gently, okay, that's very easy for me to tap into, I feel very self confident about fill in the blank, I feel very empowered around the subject of fill in the blank, start with something that you've done work around already. And then we can step into, okay, this is a little further out of my reach, but looks really juicy, I want some of that. And as we're doing this work, what we're going to notice is that we are attracting people into our experience that are empowering, and that we are easily in turn empowering. So there's a beautiful flow and Ebb and Flow. We're taking better care of ourselves by taking better care of our thoughts. By being mindful of our breath. We focus on what is working, what we are able to do not what isn't happened yet, or what we what we suck at. Give yourselves a break. You are amazing at so much focus on what is working. So instead of using words like I can't I don't I suck at that. I'm curious about that. I'd love to play with that a little bit. I'd love to explore that. It feels really foreign. But there's something about it that I'm drawn to Oh, which feels better. That's a no brainer. And then make some choices, warriors. Make some choices. You know, I'm always saying grab a pen, jot it down. Start making it real once you've thought the thought it's out there, the universe got it. Now, what are you gonna do with it? You might let it go. You might just put it out there and maybe you'll come back to it later. I'm sure you've done that. Or you might really immediately start to nurture it.
Jani Roberts:Put it into the meditation each day. Let it come in, nurture it and release it out again, to universe empower the thought to empower your experience. Yes, yes. I want to get a big Amen. Let me hear you. Amen. We are doing this. We are feeling empowered, we are empowered. We have the ability to be empowered and to receive empowerment. Until next time, crush it. Rock it out. I got nothing but love for you. Peace.
