We uncover the truth that people actually love to pay for it. We break down the four conditions that make someone want to invest in coaching, including the existence of dream clients, their desire for results, their willingness to take action, and their readiness to pay for the solution. By understanding these conditions, we realize that coaching is a natural process, just like buying groceries or seeking solutions to everyday problems, and it becomes easier to attract clients and help them achieve their goals.

Hey welcome to she coaches coaches, I'm your host, Candy Motzek. And I'm going to help you find the clarity, confidence and courage to become the coach that you are meant to be. If you're a new coach, or if you've always wanted to be a life coach, then this is the place for you. We're going to talk all about mindset and strategies and how to, because step by step only works when you have the clarity, courage and confidence to take action. Let's get started. Hi, I am so glad you're here. Welcome to the show. As I get ready to record today's episode, to fino, my dog is lounging in her chair, she is having a great snooze. It is a beautiful sunny day out there. And I am late getting this to my editor. It's interesting, I'm usually well ahead of schedule. But this week was full, and I didn't really have any inspired thoughts to share with you. So I've been procrastinating about recording this episode. Now, don't get me wrong, I have a list, a very, very long list of potential topics to speak about to help you with. But you know, none of them spoke to me this week. And I really prefer to record episodes that I feel are inspired, helpful and valuable to you. Well, I didn't have any inspired ideas until I had a coaching session with one of my clients earlier today. And then that was it, she brought something to the call that I know will help you too. And it's all about worrying that people don't see the value of coaching, and that they don't really want to pay for it. Now, before we dive in, I know many of you listen every week, and some of you have been with me since the beginning. Thank you. I so appreciate being in your ears. Now, I want to ask you a favor. Could you leave me a five star rating and review? You know, podcasts are a funny thing. No one really knows how those podcasts players like Apple podcasts. Nobody knows exactly how they rank everything, or how they decide to recommend shows to potential listeners. But the one thing I do know is that ratings and reviews out. I know you've probably meant to do it and then got busy. But I'd so appreciate the favor. If you would take a minute and leave me a rating and a review. It's really the only way I know that we're going to show this podcast to more coaches who could benefit from this message. Thank you. I really appreciate it. So now, let's dive in. Did you know that people love to pay for coaching? Well, it's true. You may not believe it. But let me explain a bit more. Many of my clients worry that it's hard to sell coaching. They think that it's discretionary. And they feel uncomfortable making offers uncomfortable inviting people to be their clients, and uncomfortable saying this is how much I charge. And if you want to work with me, this is the investment. Maybe this sounds familiar. If it does, you are not alone. Like I said, it's a common worry that coaches have. And this is exactly the kind of thing that I help my clients with. Now, back to the title of this episode, the not so surprising desire to pay for coaching. Or you could say something a little bit different. You could say that people do want to pay you for coaching. People want to pay for help, but not everybody wants to yet. And those are not your people quite yet. There are four conditions that need to be met for somebody to be ready to pay you to get your help and to hire you. But it's not difficult, it actually makes common sense. So let me explain it to you. The four conditions look like this. First, your dream client already exists, they are looking for help to get a result that they want is the second number three, they are willing to do something to fix their issue. And number four, they are willing to pay for the solution. So like I said, this is actually a progression 1234 Now to understand what I'm saying, let's step into the life of your dream client. Your dream client is the perfect person that you would so enjoy working with and that you know you can help now Once you've narrowed down the specifics of your dream client, then you know they already exist in your space. Now, if your dream client is exceedingly rare, maybe there's only one in every 100 million people that would match that, then you might want to look at this again, because there needs to be a viable number of people. Well, those dream clients, they are experiencing life right now. And they're having issues with something, something is bugging them. Maybe they're even a little bit obsessed. You know what it's like, you get a bee in your bonnet, and you start to google it looking looking looking for the solution. Now, this thing could be, I want to get fit before summer, but I don't know where to start. Or how do I stop fighting with my teenager? Or how do I get a promotion? See, sometimes it's a problem. And sometimes it's a desire for that next step or goal that they've been dreaming of. So these examples are the first thing that I want you to see, your dream client already has a desire, a problem or a goal that they want to solve. You didn't create it, they already have it. So now, they've got something that they want. And many times they might talk about it for a while, they might google it some more. It's simmering there in their mind, but they aren't yet ready to do something. So they aren't yet ready. They are in fact finding or thinking about it mode.
Here are some great episodes to start with.
