Alma Domínguez nace en el estado de Chihuahua, México (1976) donde vive la mayor parte de su vida, siendo su padre guitarrista se le despierta interés por la música desde muy pequeña, en 1994 ingresa a la Universidad Autónoma de Chihuahua en el Instituto de Bellas Artes, donde cursa la Licenciatura en Artes con terminal en Música, pero en convivencia con alumnos de las diferentes disciplinas descubre y explora los terrenos de las Artes Plásticas de las cuales ya no se separa.

Es psicóloga con Maestría en Ciencias Sociales, aspectos que influyen fuertemente en su obra, ésta es realizada en diferentes soportes como madera, lienzo, papel y metal predominando la técnica mixta.

Fundadora del Colectivo Pintoras Mexicanas y co-fundadora de OPEN Center for the Arts en la Ciudad de Chicago. CHa participado en diversas exposiciones en México, USA, Nicaragua, España, Argentina, Santiago de Chile y Rusia. Actualmente reside en el área de Chicago IL.
