Over the years, as well as as well as coaching a group of people I'd only met through the coaching experience, I've also coached a heap of my mates as well. And it's pretty cool to see someone you've known for many years to have such powerful breakthroughs. Now, I want to share a story of Nick, Nick and I grew up together literally across the road. So this one was all the more special is see me at my worst. And yet, here we are in reaching out to me and, and working with me in a coaching capacity. And it takes courage to share that experience. So openly, as Nick did with me recently allowed me to share it on my socials. So I'm very appreciative of that. Because I know it'll inspire others to change their life too. So I want to share it with you guys today as well. So, true story. Also, Nick reached out because he'd seen a video that I'd done with one of my other clients a couple of years ago. And what a legend, he is now paying that forward. So thank you, Nick, I appreciate it. You're an absolute inspiration, you should be so proud of how you've come how far you've come. And yeah, I'm so glad that you've allowed me to share this with my listeners. So enjoy this testimonial from from my mate Nick, but also client, Nick.

So I reached out to a and about two months ago as I was having some issues with with my parents. And I had had a lot of self doubt and a lack of confidence in where I was where I was going in, in my life. A few key key points that that made me reach out to Ian was lack of direction. I had not much self confidence to push myself professionally. And, and also a lack of process in my life where when I really needed it. I guess I sum it down to a few key words over the last 12 months for frontman and what I've what I've gained in the last 12 months would probably be clarity, self confidence and, and reassurance that I am capable and doing anything that I set my mind to. So and really, really instilled that in me and push push my limits. And also, he gave me he gave me that mindset to really focus on what's important and not focus on what what you can't control, and also removed a lot of the self doubt that I've had for for so long, I reckon about 20 years. So all in all, it's it's been an amazing experience. life's changed dramatically. I have a lot more self confidence. And that self doubt has has almost been removed. I wouldn't say it's removed totally. But there's significant improvements from where I started at the beginning to where I am now has had a big impact on my working, working life, especially in my career. It's a relatively new career. And with that removal of self doubt and that instilling of confidence has really shown professionally and I've had so much feedback from from my superiors is at work and my colleagues at work, which has been amazing, and also from my from home life as well with specifically my parents, which, which is why I reached out to him, and also between myself and my wife and my kids.

So that was Nick garden, sharing his transformational journey. Now, as I've said before, if you're at that point where you are ready to change, then having an independent sounding board is so important. Now, whether that's reaching out to me or to someone else, it's important that you choose the right person. And it's the right person for you that it's in alignment. And it's gonna give you the results, because I've done enough of those experiences where I've chosen the wrong coach, and it hasn't worked out. Now, because of that, if you are ready, and you're not sure, then then reach out, I'll be I'll have an obligation free chat with you. And I guarantee you, I will, I will not take you on. If I can't help you, I only take on people I know I can help. But if I can't help you, I'll certainly tell you that and I'll be able to point you in the right direction, I'll be able to give you something that will help you whether that's a resource or to point you towards someone who can. Because the most important thing for me is that you get the help that you need. You make the changes that you want to make. I heard this story the other day they go okay, who, whose recipe is their spiritual chili source. He said, I don't make source to make money. I make money so I can make more source. And that's how I like to look at it. I want to be able to help more people. And if I'm not the right person for you, then I want to be able to point you in the right direction. So hopefully that message from Nick inspired you and helped you to believe that you can make changes and it is possible for you. And as always, if you feel called and you're ready, because you will know if you are you know when you are ready, then reach out, ask questions and I'll do my best to point you in the right direction. As I said, I hope you enjoyed this episode of The Grief Code podcast. Thank you so much for listening. Please share it with a friend or family member that you know would benefit from hearing it too.
