Seriously, how fast is he gone? Now part of that will be because the previous two years for many of us did drag. But that's not the only thing that we playing out for you. You might be sitting there thinking I haven't done half the things I wanted to get done this year. The reality is that time isn't actually sped up. But when you haven't got structure, you've got certainty. It feels like time has just flown. Your brain thrives when it has clarity on where you're heading, what steps you're going to be taking and getting that ongoing validation and support you're actually on the right path. When you've got this sort of clarity, then it's so much easier to find focus, easier to be present. And time does feel like it slows down. You're not jumping from one thing to the next, you're not we've got something to Ground Zero, you've got a structure. Now, if you just dive in without having some structure in that without having a clear path, and the years and the months and weeks and days will just fly by you won't be able to relate to that. Like the analogy of the lumberjack, he could just jump straight in and start trying to chop the tree down without sharpening his axe. But it'll take exponentially longer than him taking the time to slow down to sharpen his axe before he takes on that job. How often do you do that in your life where you're like, I know I need to plan. Well, now I need some structure. I know I need some steps to take no need to have clarity of that. But I've got so much to do. So we'll just dive in. The reality is that spending that time planning will save you time, save you energy will save you frustration. So it's short term pain for long term gain every single time. Now, rather than waiting until the new year starts to get your plan in place for next year, the time to plan is now get out ahead of it have everything in place in advance. So when you start the new year, your unconscious brain has already been processing. It already has some clarity to work to, you will have already had ideas, opportunities, certainty around what needs to be done, and that inner drive to actually make it happen. As always, let me know if that resonates with you, as time spit up for you, as the year flown by have you? Is there a bunch of stuff that you wish you'd get done and you still want to get done? Do you put pressure on yourself for that? Do you actually then come down on yourself for what you haven't done? Maybe recognize that as a trap that's repeated year on year for you. That's common place that you end up with at the end of the year. Doesn't have to be that way. It's time to change and I'll be talking more about this that this week. So no, no your life hasn't sped up this year hasn't accelerated. And yes, that feeling that feels very real that it has can be judged.
