I know the power of his work, I love to hear the impact these conversations have. Okay, let's get into it.

With Roger Federer, going on his farewell tour at the moment announced his retirement just the other week and be a number of interviews with him and emotional outpouring for for him and for other people, as he's said his farewells and talked about the impact of different people in his life, the Reagan opportunity for us to talk about someone as talented as that, and coaching. So I'm not sure if you're aware, but at one point in his career, he didn't feel like he needed a coach, it was fairly early on in the piece, maybe about 2004 2005. And he was pretty successful. So he won Grand Slams at this point. And he's like, I don't think I need a coach. And he was that good that there were three people who were agreeing with him, maybe there wasn't anything a coach could teach him. But within eight months, he had hired Tony Roche, to coach him. Because there were many gaps in his performance. There were things that he couldn't see. Because he was in the game. Les Brown talks about, you can't see the picture when you're in the frame. And it's the same in every area of your life. When you're in it, you can't necessarily see it. Now, I have a coach and I speak to my coach at least once a week, sometimes more depending on what's going on. And the amount of times that I say to her, ah, how did I not see that. Because it seems so obvious when you have someone pointed out, just having the space for me to externally process to verbalize what I got going on. And to have someone just listen and then helped me make sense of it just changes everything. Now, whether you're the best tennis player in the world as he was for many of those years that he played, or whether you are aspiring to anything else, you don't need a coach. But if you want to be your best, then having a coach is going to have a massive positive impact. Now, as a coach, of course, I'm going to be a massive promoter of having a coach. But also know what it's like to have not had one myself. And I wouldn't change it for anything, I will always have someone there, who's not emotionally connected to my journey, who I can talk to, who's going to be able to give me guidance. Because on those on those days, when you feel alone, we don't feel like anyone understands you even the most important people in your life. It is so valuable to have someone that you can reach out to and ask questions. And to be able to verbalize what's going on and to be able to talk about the things that you don't talk about with anyone else. Because no one understands because some things you don't feel safe sharing. And that's completely normal. There are certain conversations that you may not feel comfortable even having with your partner because you might have conversations around this before and you've got a reaction that you weren't hoping for. A coach takes the emotion out a coach helps you to be able to understand what it is that's spinning and swimming around in your head so that you can make sense of it yourself. And that's the beauty of it. You know giving your power up to someone else who point to into a direction don't want to go although there are some coaches out there, I'm sure who don't do it that way who are bringing their own agenda and

that'd be a really important question to ask when you win. You're looking for a coach, if you ever do is like what, what are they actually helping me with. Because if they're steering you in a direction, that doesn't feel quite right, well, then they're not the right person, and they're probably not the right coach for anyone, it's being able to have a safe space for you to navigate and for you to find what the right way is, and to identify what might be getting on the road so that you can get those obstacles out of the way and be able to move forward to what it is that you want to know that you're supported to know that you are validated that you are taking the right steps. So you can have that ability to back yourself. So you can realize that you have everything that you need within you. And so you no longer have those, that feeling of inadequacy of not being good enough to do certain things, you won't have that feeling again, you'll have all of the confidence in yourself to going after what it is that you want to be able to live life on your terms to have that freedom of your future, was one of the massive motivators for me when I got started, is like I'm in this job. And I'm restricted on what I can do, how I spend my hours each day, how much income I can have, how much freedom I can have in so many different levels. Now, I'm not saying that you have to leave your job and go find a go start a business because not about but it's like living life on your terms, it means that you can find the job that's right for you, you can change what's going on in your current job to make it fit for you. It can change in all areas of your life, to make it fit for you, just for you. And that doesn't mean at the expense of others, it can be both, you can have what you want. And also allow the other people in your life to get what they want as well. They're not mutually exclusive. And it's one of the big challenges. People think, Oh, if I go and do this, this, this and this, it's going to be selfish, and then maybe my partner is going to miss out maybe my kids are going to miss out now everyone's gonna get more of what they want. When you take the right steps, and you're doing it with the right intention. And that's what's possible for you in your life. It's one of the greatest joys I get in helping people is to help them see that what they want is possible and it will actually strengthen their all of their relationships, and everything that they do. So if you're like Roger Federer, and you want to be better and you want to continue to win in whatever area of your life that you want to win it and find yourself a coach, find yourself a mentor, find yourself a confidant is going to help you without the emotional attachment help you get to exactly where you want to get by empowering you to be able to actually back yourself and do it yourself.
