I know the power of this word, I love to hear the impact these conversations have. Okay, let's get into

an important astray you may know that the black box flight recorder is an Australian invention. What I think most of you wouldn't know is that the inspiration for that flight recorder recorder came after the inventors father had passed away in a plane crash in the 1930s. Now what I know is that your own story is key to your purpose. There are key elements of your past that when you are able to work out what they are, join those doors, like I talked about in the last episode, you'll see where you're going to be able to contribute the most to the world because of this passion that you'll have. Because of something you've been through. So it is our darkness that creates purpose. That creates magic, really. So David Warren, what you will most definitely not know is a actually a relative of mine. I can't hear the exact ladies I think it's my mom's uncle or great uncle. That must be uncle. So he his dad before he tragically passed in the plane crash had given his son David A. A radio when I was old school. What are they called? I can't even think of them now. Old school radio think those those news rule type. audios you may have heard with the with the classic sound effects that they put on going back like nearly 100 years. So he was fascinated by this radio, this radio and how it worked. And he ended up in all sorts of fields growing up. Well, initially after having this fascination with all this, all things, recording and actually selling recordings of shows that he got on his radio that back then few other people had entrepreneurial as well. And he fit ended up in a field in in aviation, in rockets. And then heard about on earth, he was part of what he was doing was they were trying to work out why these jets that were early stage of development back in their 50s where they kept crashing. And his idea was like, Well, if you had a recording of the telemetry and the audio of the pilots, then at the very least you would hear what they were experiencing what they'd seen what they'd heard. And that would go a long way to working out what the problems were there for those who have, who have been down this path of unlocking their story and and going through the different challenges that everyone's backstory as the setbacks, right. And the setback for him was that no one was interested. In fact, he kept hitting roadblocks of like, this is not something you should talk about. In fact, you're threatened that his boss said if he you're talking about this idea to anyone including myself, then you'll be fired. And thankfully, fate prevailed in a certain way. And that that boss got promoted a new one came in he was fascinated and then he ends up again by fate on the way to the UK To share his ID there with someone who was very interested. And the rest, as they say, is history. So this person that as an eight year old had lost his father in a plane crash, comes up with a solution that would have been able to tell what had happened to that very plane crash that his father died. So the link is so clear. The dark moment from his childhood inspired him to create something that meant that other families would get closure that there could be improvements so that planes wouldn't have to crash at all? Well, I'm sure that was part of the motivation to reduce the number of plane crashes. Because again, of what event, what have you experienced? Now, I obviously can't answer exactly what the motivation was, the inspiration was. But what I know is, is that that thing that gives us so much purpose is because it provides something that we wish we'd had, because we never want to have anyone else have to go through what we went through alone.

So while looking back at those past moments, those big moments of pain initially can be quite challenging. The more you can process them, the more you can make peace with them, the more that you can come to a level of acceptance. And to be able to clear whatever blocks might be linked to that, then you will unlock a drive a passion, a purpose, I fulfillment or satisfaction from life, that at this point, you may not even comprehend has been possible. Or I want to remind you it is possible. And that, for some of you, it's necessary, you already know that there are bigger things for your life, you felt it from probably a quite young age. And you may have also felt that nudge to actually start following

one of the best activities you can do is take a inventory of your past and look for the patterns. Even better is to sit with one someone until your story like you hear me doing every week with a different guest, giving them a platform to tell their story. And I know how much it helps my guests to get clarity, even some of them that have been, they've done a fair bit of work on their personal brand, they're able to unlock a whole new level of it. Because quite often they haven't gone that deep into the into the story into the grief into the blocks from their past. You can even listen back to some of those interviews and think about how you would answer some of those questions and your finances there. And if you're feeling really brave, then reach out I'd love to have you as a guest, if you've got a story, if you have a desire to eat to get that clarity on your on your personal purpose, your personal brand, whether that's for business, or just because you're curious. And you would like to unlock more of that in your life. You can be like David Warren that can create something that will change the world. Now, it doesn't have to be anything as widespread as the obvious influence of David Warren's flow record. He's black box, which he's actually orange because it makes it easier to see when they have an accident. But then, more often than not, the purpose he actually won doesn't have to be that be that graduates, it's changing your world, whatever that looks like, whether it's a small group of family and friends, community, or if you have aspirations for something bigger, whatever it is, you get to determine what your world looks like, and how you want to change it. But I know if you're listening to this, you're someone who's going to be hard and loves to help and loves to guide and you already know that fulfillment of that sort of contribution guarantee you're Having a more positive impact on the world than you currently realize. So there's a few options there for you to start tapping into your purpose. And of course, if you are looking for more in depth assistance in this, then reach out. It's one of my favorite parts of coaching people spent years trying to work out my story, my brand and as you'll see, in the coming weeks as I tweak some of the elements of the podcast, it's a work in progress constantly. And I'm constantly looking for new ways to get more clarity and a deeper sense of purpose, because I'm gonna how much joy there is in the take action. As always, reach out if you need help. And as always, I'd love to hear your own story and what you found going through these processes. Enjoy.
