All right, welcome back for another episode of the Launch Button. And today, we're going to be talking about having to take the action you need to achieve the success you want. Now, in the last episode, you heard us talk about KPIs and CTAs and talked about leading you down that path. And we congratulate everybody that went to thelaunchbuttonpodcast.com that joined and then went to the eframily Ohana and joined our private community. So you guys are getting fully immersed in all the different things. But I do want to go over this with you and show you that one of the things that are holding us back time, money, knowledge, don't allow us to see the opportunities that are all around us.
So let me ask you a question. You may have been walking to work, you may have been driving to work tonight, you may have been taken on Metro or, or subway or bus whatever it happened to be. My question for you is how many red cars went by you today? You know, a red car did you commute anywhere? Now have you worked from home, of course, you're not going to see that. But if you went into an office, you went for a walk, you went for your run today, you did some sort of exercise, you took your kids to school, whatever it happened to be, the record is going by, you may have noticed it probably up past one, two, right? Whatever that number happens to be, you've made your comment below this video right now, wherever you happen to be or on the podcast. And so here's the thing. We didn't see all the opportunities, because we did see all the red cars, there were probably more than we thought. Why? Because we weren't paying attention. Right? The six inches, we had an activated our brain to see that. And what we don't often see until we look back on things is the opportunities that are passing us by each and every day.
So time money, knowledge, right? We don't think we have some of these things. And that's what's holding us back from success often. And I'm gonna explain that to you here. Right. And just that little analogy that little examples don't allow you to see, hey, maybe you are missing some opportunities. Maybe there are some things that I can take advantage of. Maybe there's all these different things. You've heard me say in the past, I am not a very good speller. And I don't do grammar. Well, me and the Oxford comma. Don't do it alone often. But thanks to GPT thanks to, you know, all the different spelling techniques and correction software. Now a lot of my emails get sped up, it used to take me two to eight hours to write an email. And yet I've written three books, including the Launch button, which was an Amazon bestseller. That's why we're doing this podcast one of the reasons, but I want to take you back in time. See, before there was all these AI tools. And before there was all these different things, my very first book, back in 2009, called the power of the platform, speaking on purpose, right? Speaking on purpose. Now in 2009, I was asked to be a part of a book. And I thought, oh, cool, I just had to do a chapter, right, it's an opportunity. And it was a whole bunch of people contributing chapters for and we do this with my group to get them exposure and some different things like that, we'll show you how to do that, if you're working with us and to build that. But at that time, you know, I'm based in New York, I'd spoken on an event. And you know, the publisher was out in Las Vegas says, Hey, I got a bunch of other speakers, were going to come up with this book about speaking from the state, right and speaking with purpose to help people to really be able to go ahead and do that. And I was like, okay, I can write a chapter, right, I can do that. Pretty simple. Now, again, can't spell can't do grammar. So my brain was freaking out, right, that fear. It's gonna cost some money to be in a book, I get it. All right, so we had to pay a fee to be in it. Was it worth it. And you know, there was no Amazon shipping back then we actually got all the physical copies of the book. I don't even know if you can buy this on Amazon anymore. Because it's so old like that there's only a few copies left. But you may not be where you want to be in life today. But you have to see the opportunities. And I never knew where this little book would lead. And this little book right here. There's about, let's say, about 16 speakers in here. But I didn't know who a lot of the other speakers were, and most of the general public didn't know at that time. So let me ask you this question. How much would you pay to be in a book with Jack Canfield, Les Brown, and Brian Tracy? And today, today's world if you don't know who those people are, go ahead and hit a little doodle right. Jack Canfield Chicken Soup for the Soul. Right was famous at that time in 2009. Les Brown, right. One of the most famous speakers travels around the country. It's anywhere from 50,000 to $300,000 for a keynote, Brian Tracy. Well, he's the number one trainer of real estate agents. Right salespeople, he charges anywhere from 10,000 to 30,000 for a private coaching session. Now it's unstated and over, like all these different things, and yet, I'm gonna book with it. Why? Because back then, they didn't even make the front cover of the book, because nobody knew who they were in 2000. The only person on that front cover Jack Canfield, right there, right Jack Canfield is on the front cover. For those of you guys on the podcast, you can't see this. But on the back cover, there's a picture of Brian Tracy, there's a picture of Les Brown, out on the front cover, because back then nobody knew who they were. Right. And I use this analogy all the time with my people. I'm in the book to your eye, and people now would pay crazy amount of money to be in a boat with them. But I had an opportunity. And I said, Yes, you know, it was out of my comfort zone, even though I didn't know where it would lead. Right? And sometimes those are the best opportunities. I easily could have said no, because it cost me money. I didn't have knowledge in book publishing. Right? was more than I wanted to spend. But I said yes to the opportunity. And that's led me down a path now.
My, my solo Book Launch button, that's my third book. So if you're not good at math, you're not good at these things. You got to say, yes, the opportunities that put you in the room that are 70 to 80%, of what you want. And that's really what I want you to understand. When we talked about these fears. I hadn't said yes to that opportunity. Right. There was lots of things and there's certain things in your life, there's a turning point in your life where you said that. And I'm not the only one. I'm not the only one. This happens all the time to my students, right? I get people that come on down, they say, Hey, you I want to invest in real estate, but I may not have the money or the credit. This is starlet first generation American. And Scarlett came to our bootcamp. She's like, I don't have the money. But I want to go out there and do deals. I didn't have the confidence. She's like, I didn't even think I could talk to our real estate agent. So we had to get her past the fear of the money and talk to you now is it harder to do a real estate deal with no money? Of course? Does it take more tenacity does it take more time, energy and effort of course, and that's what she stuck with it. And just getting started in some of you guys just gotta get started. You got to take that action, you got to put yourself in that place. As a first generation American, she's taking care of her mom, she got her son in college, and being able to do that. And she was able to actually get into her first multifamily deal with no money out of pocket. She partnered with a couple other people on how to do that. Just from that boot camp and hanging out with us for three days, working through all the issues. She saw how to run numbers, she saw how to take the action, how to do that things, and now she's fine with it. And then we've got people that are, you know, already successful. I got people that are already out there doing real estate deals already successful in their business, whatever it happens to be like Antonio, Antonio has been out there doing real estate deals over and over and over. But he sort of had plateaued, he sort of reached a spot, right? We gave him a shout out on social media, and allowed him to go out there and do these different things. And all of a sudden, he left his D, because he needed that refresher, he needed that kick in the pants, he needed that opportunity to step forward and start to redo his PPIs and his CDA and his KPIs go out there and make 10 phone calls a day, put 10 offers in, attend to networking events and workout every day. And he got into amazing shape, not only for him, his family, his daughter already would like to be in better shape for your family members, right? Be in better shape for the people around you. He was able to put 25,000 in his in his pocket on his marketing business. He was able to get into another deal. And now he's out there, building that network. He's getting his posts up there on social media, being able to do the different things. So when I'm talking to you to everybody about this, I want you to sort of step back and think, Hmm, what is holding me back? Where are the opportunities that I'm not seeing that? Please do not allow money, knowledge and time to hold you back. Because we can always get more money. We can always get more knowledge. The one thing we can't ever get back is our time. And most people spend the first 50 years of their lives making money and then and sacrificing their health and the last 50 years using their money to save their health. So let's do it together. That's why I'm a big proponent of we start with a workout we get that see KPIs going consistent daily action. One of the things I have most of my people do one of their KPIs CDA consistent daily action is to move for 30 minutes a day first thing in the morning. I don't care what that is.
If you're just walking, right, Karina right. Pregnant eight months pregnant out there hustling, shuffling, doing what she's got to do. All the way to Luigi marathon runner out there crushing it. Somewhere in between most people are some We're in between, just get out there and move, create that as one of your KPIs your CDA to be able to go ahead and do that, too. After that, whether you meditate, pray, whatever it happens to be for you, ground yourself into it, create your day. And then three big thing we have is those three big tasks, right? We only want you to really focus on your three big rocks of the day, to be able to go ahead and do that. Another book that we have that just focuses on that, right is our productivity journal, steps to fire your boss that was gonna be the original title, by the way of the Launch button book until one of my students stole the title. Gotta be careful what you share, right? We didn't have the copyright, we didn't and they, they took it. So you didn't figure that out on Amazon. But when we go through this, if you need that productivity journal, go grab it, it's up there on Amazon. But here's the thing. It's about taking consistent daily action. Just like going to the gym, you're not going to only see the progress right away one day at the gym is not going to change things. Two days at the gym, not gonna change things. All of a sudden, you know, one day when you're not noticing it, boom, you got the body, you got your summer body, you're in shape, you're ready to go. And we want to build this year, your summer bank account. It is winter time now, we want you to not only have that summer party, want you to have that summer bank at home. So we're gonna talk to you about our KPIs key performance indicators, they cannot be based on result, did I do a sale, did I buy a property did I do whatever it happens to be has to be based on the action. So that's our CDs. So those videos that want access to that, if you go to the launch button, podcast.com you sign up there, you go into our click on the button that says E family. Join our private community there and you will get access to our CDA and KPI tracker, that's going to give you the information that's going to share with you how to go ahead and get exactly what you want, and build that life for you. And here's the thing, right, as you're building that life, or you build on those changes, it's gonna affect every area of your life, not just your bank account, but you're gonna get in better shape better mentality, people will thank you in your lives for taking the action, you're gonna have more energy, all of the things are gonna happen for you, right there, you're gonna get to meet our community of investors behind the closed doors, all you got to do, whether, you know we've got our real estate bootcamp we got ours are expressed with impact how to be better speakers how to be on stage, you're gonna see us coming around the country at lots of events, so that you can get plugged in on that, and for you to take the action.
So like I said, sort of theLaunchbuttonpodcast.com. Enroll. When we get on the newsletter, you'll get to know about a bunch of different things, then go in there, click on that entrepreneur friendly link, it will take you over to our private community. And you can be up and running with your KPIs your CDA in a couple of days. And then sky's the limit just up to you no matter how much energy, how much time, how much effort you put in. And it only takes a few minutes a day to launch your business and take it to that next level. So congratulations on being here. I look forward to seeing you on the next episode.
