Today, let’s talk about picking your battles. I’m here to tell you that you do not have to show up to every fight that you’re invited to. As Leaders, we must recognize that someone is always watching, and how we choose to engage says a lot about us. Our engagement speaks to our intrinsic character and the values that we stand by. This is also true in a corporate setting. How we engage in those difficult conversations as leaders around the performance of our colleagues and employees without being contentious is also important. Let’s dig into today’s topic and explore why It’s important that we understand how we as leaders are willing to engage.
