Unique Leaders: Rene Banglesdorf

Unique Leaders: Rene Banglesdorf

Rene grew up in Birmingham, Alabama and moved to Ohio when she was 10. She learned early on to move quickly. She found a passion for journalism her senior year in high school.

She met her husband in college and soon after they got married and started a family. Rene’s husband was a part of a marketing business in the aviation industry. They ended up moving their family to Georgetown, Texas. In 2008, Rene and her husband started their own aviation brokerage company.

In college she thought she thought she would become a journalist but she never thought she would be where she is today. She is able to tell success stories to people every day and have had many opportunities to connect with many prestigious people through her career. She talks about what it’s like to be a woman in the aviation industry and shares her story of strength and courage to be a leader.

Rene had many supportive people who helped her to achieve the confidence to hold the title of CEO of her and her husband’s aviation company. She had been through many uphill battles and tough times, but with those behind her, she was able to ace it. She believes that it’s important to be authentic and be brave, but she is not willing to pretend she hasn’t had difficulties to get there.

Being comfortable in your own skin is more impressive than pretending to be someone you’re not.
