This is 1x09 - "Cast Your Fate to the Wind." Fate, Destiny, and Free Will collide this week on The Winchesters. A team of vampires roll into Lawrence in search of an amulet that can offer a glimpse of Destiny, resulting in John Winchester getting a dark look at his apparent Fate. Mary and John attempt to hide their new relationship from the team to keep things simple, but everything may be getting a bit more complicated as John's ex-fiancé, Betty, and Kyle the journalist begin to investigate them.
