Offense or Defense at #10?
Welcome to the Dallas Cowboys Blitzcast by DSP Media in partnership with CowboysSI.com. Colby Sapp and Timm “IndyCarTim” Hamm are your hosts as we discuss all things Dallas Cowboys and all things NFL.
We review the divisional round games including a near “instant classic” in Kansas City, and then discuss our picks for the conference championship games. Philip Rivers announced his retirement from the NFL on Wednesday of this week so the question is obvious: Is he a hall of famer? Coming from the same draft class and with similar numbers to Eli Manning (already in) and Ben Roethlisberger (commonly accepted to be in upon retirement) but without the rings, is it possible that he’s in?
The NFL coaching carousel continues as does the Deshaun Watson saga, as the Philadelphia Eagles have found their man while Houston remains coach-less, and almost quarterback-less, while the Pittsburgh Steelers think Dwayne Haskins might be the post-Ben solution.
In the ‘PLUS’ portion of the show this week we discuss the Harden to Nets trade, which seems to be working as long as Kyrie Irving is not also on the floor, and what’s wrong with the Mavs this early in the season?
