Anne Fertig is the Digital Projects Editor at the Center for Digital History at the Fred. W. Smith National Library for the Study of George Washington at Mount Vernon. She received her Ph.D from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2022. In addition to her work at Mount Vernon, she is the founder and co-director of Jane Austen and Co., a free online lecture series that reaches thousands around the globe. She co-edited A Song of Glasgow Town: the Collected Works of Marion Bernstein and has published in Victorian Periodical Review, Studies in Scottish Literature, and the Routledge Companion to Jane Austen.
