Divorce is hard, but separation, as I and many many others have come to realize, can be harder. The physiological and psychological impact can be profound even in the most amicable of separations, throw in some conflict though and the devastation can be off the charts. In the coming years we will no doubt see an escalation in high conflict separations as courts struggle to keep up with what is expected to be a tidal wave of divorce filings as the world opens up again. The cascading effect of all this of course spills out into our society and the consequences are almost immeasurable. My next guest is committed to helping. Sunnie McFadden-Curtis spent over four years filming her documentary Broken Vows: Stories of Separation that began with a simple question, When a marriage ends, where do you begin? Well for now, how about right here. If you’re marriage is coming to a close, or if you’re stuck in separation limbo, then this is a podcast you won’t want to miss. Meet Sunnie McFadden Curtis.
