On this very special Father’s Day edition of Drinks With Johnny, we’re joined by the father-daughter duo of Glyn & Charley Johns! Glyn is a Rock & Roll Hall of Fame producer best known for his work with Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, The Eagles, the infamous Get Back sessions with The Beatles, and many more. Charley is a PR director, and friend of the show, who has helped us bring on guests like Shavo Odadjian and many others.
We give you a fly on the wall view of what it was like to grow up in the Johns household. Glyn gives us some insight to his recording process, while Charley provides some background on life outside of the studio. With legendary acts frequenting the house to record, we get Charley’s perspective on her dad’s work and how it helped to forge her own career in music.
