Mark at @summerschoolelectronics asked if I wanted to demo his new boost (which definitely does more than just boost)
So I decided to treat it like @franksredhot and put that pedal on EVERYTHING!
It’s not often you get a super simple guitar pedal that can both fatten up bass, and add some brightness to your guitar… but the Extra Credit can indeed do that!
Plus, it is great as a straight volume boost, or to goose your amp during leads.
Listen closely and you can hear how it increases the saturation and compression of the notes on the lead when it kicks in. (I start the lead with it off.)
