I’ve always loved true crime, used to fall asleep to SVU in college every night. After graduating, living alone, getting a little older, sometimes that show could be a little too much to fall asleep to and was replaced by by second favorite show, The Office. Though I love hearing the stories/ mysteries, the dramatization really started to trigger my anxiety and it wasn’t as enjoyable to watch crime shows. I’ve listened to some other true crime pod casts which were also incredible but sometimes I find it difficult to listen to one story for multiple episodes (yes ok I might have ADD). I stumbled across Crime Junkie and come to find, many of my friends have also listened to Crime Junkie and loved it. Since day one, I’ve been binging, like…non stop. I’ve gone in reverse order, newest to old, and now I’m sad because I’m slowly coming to an end where I only have a few left that are ‘unplayed’. Britt, Ashley, you have changed so much from 2018 to 2023 almost 2024 it’s been crazy going backwards. From listening to you hit 500k 5 start reviews to way back when you were first hitting 1k, or when people didn’t like pruppet of the (then) week????? Who doesn’t like talking about dogs, or any animals for that matter. Anyway, believe it or not I’m not one to leave reviews but I’m listening to an old podcast of yours now and decided I would actually let you know how I feel. You are amazing and have grown so much and tell these stories so well. You are both so well spoken, respectful, and knowledgeable. I love listening to your show and do literally, every…day. It has been incredible to watch this show grow - in reverse :) thank you for all you do for the victims, missing people, and families for those who desperately need your help sending out information. Much love 💋
