GOLD SHIELDS EPISODE 30, DEPUTY DISTRICT ATTORNEY, US ARMY VETERAN, CANDIDATE FOR DISTRICT ATTORNEY OF LOS ANGELES COUNTY, JONATHAN HATAMI

On this EPISODE (30) of GOLD SHIELDS, Dan and Tom were honored to have on the show, JONATHAN HATAMI. Jonathan Hatami is currently a Deputy District Attorney in Los Angeles County, and is a Candidate for Los Angeles County District Attorney. Jonathan talked about his impressive career, and also what he had to endure growing up with an abusive Father.  After being Honorably Discharged from the United States Army, Jonathan decided to attend Law School. After passing the BAR exam in four different states, he settled at the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office. 

On May 24, 2013, Jonathan would be assigned a case that would change his life. An 8 year old little boy named Gabriel Fernandez was tortured and murdered by his mother, and her boyfriend. This case was heartbreaking and took Jonathan to a different level when it came to his career. This 4 month long trial took a toll, and in the end Jonathan showed why he was named Prosecutor of the Year twice when he was able to convict them both of Murder. He also showed how broken the system was that was set up to protect Gabriel, and failed! This case is now a successful NetFlix series, “The Trials of Gabriel Fernandez”. We always say on GOLD SHIELDS that we give you the best of True Crimes, and this certainly is the case when you hear the first hand account from Jonathan.

Jonathan Hatami also talked about being a Candidate for Los Angeles County. Jonathan has a plan to take back Los Angeles County from the criminals and give it back to the citizens, all the while supporting the LAPD, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, as well as all of Law Enforcement.
