On what seemed like a routine call, Queensland Australia Police Constables Dayrl Green and Sharnelle Cole were dispatched to investigate a threat that happened hours earlier. They were backed up by Sergeant Chris Mulhall. During the investigation, they were ambushed by the suspect and shot multiple times with a .22. Daryl was shot twice including once in the face.
