A call for a helicopter crash early in his law enforcement career as a 911 dispatcher began what he could have never predicted. He started his career with the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Department as a Dispatcher and retired at the rank of Sheriff's Lieutenant. Andrew Baxter, a.k.a. "Drew Breasy" is our guest.

The indirect trauma of the helicopter crash and other 911 calls as a dispatcher, and the direct traumas of his career in law enforcement led to destructive and harmful behavior. PTS, substance abuse and the problems the caused in his personal and professional life led to his recovery.
