Will has a candid, forthright conversation about the toll that being a police officer took on his marriage. It wasn't the big critical incidents, it was the hours, shift work and time away from his family that was the big issue. He also discusses the truth about policing that contradicts the narrative presented by the news media.

After leaving police work, he turned his attention to education and is now a Professor at 2 Universities in Texas, and he is also an author. Will combined his police and educational research experience and wrote the book "The Blue Divide: Policing and Race in America".
