As a young woman, she was abducted from a mall parking lot and raped. During the extremely violent attack, she was threatened with a deadly weapon. When the serial rapist eventually released his grip on her, she managed to escape. Running naked through woods and fields screaming for help. Janet tells us about the horrifying attack, her recovery from the trauma, and how it led her to help others as a law enforcement officer.
Janet Teague has over three decades of serving in law enforcement. She is a retired sergeant with Montgomery County Sheriff's Department and now a chaplain with MCSO and Justice Court JP1. She is a minister with assemblies of God, and a co-pastor with faith-based Hope and Healing for Warriors Ministry. She also wrote a book titled "The Bible and the Badges: Blessed are the Peacemakers".
