You might be surprised by how much the border crisis is effecting their border community. From crime, social issues, the jail population, to calls for service. Plus, the lies and inaction from politicians, not just on the Federal level.
Sheriff Mark Dannels has been the chief law enforcement officer for Cochise County, Arizona, which is on the front line of the current border crisis, since 2012. Under his leadership, Cochise County innovated effective strategies to address criminal activity along the country’s border with Mexico, protecting the voters who elected him and people all across the country. Most of those effective policies have been scrapped by the Biden administration, resulting in unprecedented illegal immigration, human trafficking and narcotics smuggling. He also serves on Arizona Homeland Security-Regional Advisory Council, Alliance to Combat Transnational Threats, Border Security Advisory Council, and High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area committee.
