Howard Shatsky: Developing Resiliency in the Sports Industry

Today Howard Shatsky discusses the opportunities available within the sports industry and the key things to consider before choosing a sports-related career. Listen in as Jen and Howard discuss the power of being well-networked, dealing with rejection, and understanding the business side of sports.

Howard Shatsky is a graduate of Tulane's A.B. Freeman School of Business and the Washington College of Law at American University. He started his career in the sports industry working for the National Football League Players Association (NFLPA) and has been representing NFL players since 1989. Over the course of his career, Howard has worked with such notable NFL players such as Michael Strahan and Brian Westbrook. He has also represented other great players, coaches, and media personalities. Previously, Howard also served as an adjunct professor at Washington College of Law where he taught Sports Law.
